Anglo American upgrades scope of Woodsmith polyhalite fertiliser project to optimise long term value. Anglo American has conducted a detailed technical review of the Woodsmith polyhalite project in the UK since mid-2020 to ensure the technical and commercial integrity of the full scope of its design. Now largely complete, the review has confirmed the findings of Anglo American's due diligence that a number of elements of the project's design would benefit from modification to bring it up to Anglo American's safety and operating integrity standards and to optimise the value of the asset for the long term.

Anglo American is also making a change to the leadership of the project following its integration into Anglo American and ahead of the full project execution phase. Tom McCulley, who has led the development of the Quellaveco copper project in Peru, will take over from Chris Fraser as CEO of Crop Nutrients. After 12 years of driving the project from inception to its position today, Chris Fraser will step aside and take on a strategic projects role for Anglo American.

Happy Haddock, large scale copper porphyry projects run with 0.35%. At current copper prices, economic cutoffs could be as low as 0.15%. Take a look at the Lachlan Fold Belt porphyry mines in Cadia-Ridgeway and Northparkes. Xtract Resources have some interesting drilling going on in that area now too, at grades of 0.3-0.4,assays incoming.

Great result from hole 35 at Ascot, with plenty more drilling and assay news to come. As iceberg mentioned, the evidence of multi-generational magmatic events is in, and with each event a different phase of mineralization occurs. Looking to the upside, we may have several porphyrys on our acreage. A couple more wildcat drills may be required, but the saddle between RC and Ascot is the obvious next target, and could expand our open pit.

Shame trading wasnt suspended in all these while they were moving such a large amount of shares/accounts. Fault must also lie with Dechert LLP, the move advisors as they were supposedly in charge of this move process. None of these issues were unforeseeable which makes we wonder if they did it on purpose to get the price to tank and PI shareholders in the UK and USA to sell cheaply.

Fakevenues, isnt ATOG owned and run by the same pair of crooked directors , David Sefton and James Berwick, who drove AAOG into the ground? Using AAOG money to finance ATOG? I see one of them, James Berwick, is the CEO.
Maybe we will get another bargain asset off ATOG once Berwick works his directorial "magic" on ATOG. On the plus side, they seem to have attracted a couple of competent ex-Shell guys onto the senior management. Just wonder how?
