Well with no trades so far today it doesn't look like the drop was on any material info, just an investor exiting and maybe a few unfortunate stop losses. In other news FCR is doing well today.

Beats me then. Yes would of been nice to see the contribution of each well individually - hopefully thinking.

I think another view someone mentioned a week or two ago was that a reserves update will be the piece of news to get us moving. Announcing the flow rate is all well and good, but it�s actually not particularly informative in the grand scheme of things. It�s how long it flows which matters - at least that�s my understanding, happy to be corrected. So while we�ve had give or take half a dozen successful drills, the market is none the wiser to how much that actually contributes to the companies portfolio and the bottom line. A reserved update on recent successes in Morocco should do it, but who knows at this point.

ma5k, its a interesting point re most people will be looking to sell given news of a sale. However I'd like to think while that applies to current PI's, surely a company with liquid assets greater than mcap (so thats omitting all speculative value, just liquid assets) will attract some fresh value investors and II's. We sit with an mcap sub �3.5m, any sale will hopefully be greater than that - then we've got our investment portfolio and cash balance (other people could post precise figures of their value i'm sure). I'd like to think MM's will see our liquid assets compared to mcap and rerate on open.

The seismic inversion work completed after the SD1X discovery is indeed very promising for Ibn Yunus. A nice big red blob of gas sand on the graph page 19. �Gas bearing horizons in the South Disouq discovery correlate well to similar sections in the Kelvin and Ibn Yunus prospects�

Brent pushing $70, while our average realised PoO last calendar year was $46.7. Netbacks looking very strong already this year.

Evening bonks, how can you tell the difference between the ordinary trades from PI�s and the reshuffling of hands by MM�s? You reckon the four 2.06 trades are just two MM�s having some fun? Same as vitali, very interested in AIM/smallcap market mechanics, but not too knowledgeable. Book/article recommendations welcome. Cheers

Reading up on the Beaufort developments, some seem to think (from what I can work out) that any outstanding shorts Beaufort have would require settling in the administration process. Hence if the case, shares where Beaufort have a large outstanding short position will see a short squeeze as the outstanding positions are settled with on market buying. Any thoughts anyone?

Jag, PI�s have missed out because unlike the big boys (as the conspiracy theory goes) we didn�t know that topping up/buying in from 50p to 55p would be unwise. You could be over 20% down if you made that decision. Whereas if you were in the know you could sit safe in the knowledge that 45p was coming. That�s how PI�s have missed out - of course only if you buy into that theory.

Not followed too closely recently as been out of the country. But after the latest incentive plan RNS I�m really seeing the oceans of selling and, especially the several times delayed SD spud, in a different light. Speculation - PW and co have a (strong) sneaky feeling that they may have the jackpot in SD, plus with netbacks through the roof and soon to be released in a financial update they want to pile in at a rock bottom price before this flies. If the case it�s a prime example of what I hate about AIM (big boys get their kahunas, PI�s get misled although in this case also profit substantially as wel). Apologies if this has already been said a million times, just frustrating. But on the bright side now that box has been ticked and PW has his dirt cheap shares we can actually start to see some value in the SP? And please tell me we�ve closed that damn gap!

I'm very happy here, and expect a large portion of the sale will be through shares in the chosen mining company as others have said. Can only see this as a positive as it will 1. Show on our balance sheet and will be fully presented in our NAV and 2. Show great confidence by the board in the underlying resource while allowing us to profit from future developments. For such a small company thats a great position to be in - no requirement for drill funding just sit back and enjoy. On the other side, I would be personally against a JV in the sense of owning a set % of the resource. Comfortable to leave it in the hands of the BOD

What a tidy, well run company - couldn�t really ask for more in that respect. Nice mention of monetising Lagano Salgada as well. Good update

Resource update delayed because we found even MORE resources. As far as delays go, I'm more than happy with that one. If one of my chronically undervalued holdings would actually make a decent move in the next week I'll be slicing some money into here at this price
