On that note I�d be genuinely interested to see some cash reserves estimates/guesses if anybody has them lying around. Of course we�ll find out soon enough, but as tosh said, if you�re going to predict a placing (or say a placing is ridiculous tbf) you really need to provide some figures supporting that. If not, it�s just pointless no?

The way I see it is, as long as the EU protects companies from US sanctions the only direct effect for WSG, like others have said, will be sourcing new non US suppliers for any services and products currently coming from the US. At the time of the last announcement I believe it was still unconfirmed whether the EU will protect firms from US sanctions if they deal with Iran. With this subsequently looking positive, the main issue (and a relatively small one by the sounds of it) will be sourcing any new non US suppliers. I�d like to see something to this effect in the update later this week. I.e. Following confirmation that the EU and U.K. government will provide assurances of protection from US sanctions the project will be resumed. From there we will be finalising any new suppliers and the exchange of board approval letters. That�s my fresh faced understanding. Perhaps that�s pretty optimistic, we will see soon enough :)

Got a few on the bell this morning, been sitting on the sidelines watching the story unfold for over a year now. With the contract signed and EU looking to support and protect affected businesses from US sanctions it looks like we're in a strong position imho. ATB

Nice to see a familiar face noodle! I've also been buying sub 2p for a while and agree with your comments. Great RNS, and truly transformational time to hold MTR.

Sorry ignore my comment regarding section 33-34, having a senior moment. Think they're tied in with the dispute too. As you can tell, very confusing. I had it all sorted in my head now its gone again ha!

As Fadec mentioned the dispute is not involving section 15-16 which currently holds our two producing drills and soon to be 8 producing drills. Without looking I believe its regarding section 31-32. So worst comes to worst the 'highlands has nothing at East Denver' thoughts won't come to fruition. Assuming we have COGCC approval (which I vaguely remember we do) we're still looking good to drill on 33-34 eventually - could someone more knowledgable confirm/correct? If you've listened to the hearings like mentioned you'll understand what a complicated issue it is, and its quite clear a black and white answer isn't available. Its an area I still understand relatively little about, but the worst case is we lose our farm in on those sections and we go and find some other sections (which is the current rinse and repeat plan anyway). If you're concerned about not meeting FCA regulations then maybe drop an email to Eric and he might be able to calm your anxieties. Hope that helps.

A lot of parallels have been draw between MTR and SDX, and as a long term holder of both I have to agree. The one thing I�ve learnt from the recent 50%+ rise at SDX is the idea of holding on to your winners. Having paid your dues doing your research and waiting for months and months, maybe years (sound familiar?), you don�t sell yourself short and take a quick 30% profit when there�s much more on the table. I top sliced SDX at 30% (but feeling alright because I piled it in here sub 2p). I won�t be doing that here. Of course top slicing is good risk management, so you have to do what�s best in your situation. Just some of my recent musings - only the start of things here (and still along way to go at SDX fwiw). IMO DYOR ATB etc

Yes i wasn�t referring to the broad model of rinse and repeat, but the timings and more specific details within that. More than �we�re going to repeat this over more acreage� we haven�t seen anything substantial to back that up (I know it�s still early days). I don�t necessarily think the update will be an ED2 deal (hopefully it will), but perhaps just some more details and thoughts towards how that strategy can play out. Higher working interest, more straight forward financing with established financing partners, timings etc

That would be ideal, and a hugely positive update imo if the case. Good to see the board listening to investor concerns about clarity of direction/roadmap of future plans - one I�ve raised with Eric personally

Shocking posting Aim4Utopia. I know it must be frustrating to have waited for so long (I don't know how long in your specific case) then to have missed the ride up to 70s, but perhaps thats a valuable lesson to have learnt. Stooping to this level shows your true colours and I'd urge you to reconsider. Your post is pure and simple jealous fear mongering.
