RE: HNR1 Jul 2018 23:08
Its a fair point Westie, and if there was a clear, consistent, causal link between underlying value and the price of a share this game would be a lot easier! Unfortunately for us theres not and why you have to have your own strategy in an attempt to profit.
I've learnt a lot since my first investment in HNR and would of course do many things differently (particularly my 36p tranche of shares!) , but what I personally try and do now is find value, find upside and then find the catalyst to transfer that onto the SP. My view is we have the first two, I see the catalyst here being moving from small cap, P&D, share dilutive financing (creating a constant drag on the SP), to more mature forms of financing which will not have the same effect. HNR has never been a momentum play of bagging in a day, but with a strong financial position I see the benefits of more developed financing being the way forward here. When a company grows ever stronger fundamentally (i.e. the development of our projects: ED, DTU, Helios, WD, Nitrogen, CO2) with the pool of shares remaining broadly constant, it creates long term returns for investors. Just my view and why I'm happy to park large sums here and wait for that dream to kick in. So please no more low ball PB placings RP, we're better than that now ;) ATB mate
