I'd also say that seasonal range expansion will temporarily bolster l4l, so you might get some heady increases last year that level out. Until FMCG picks up, they're swimming against a rising tide on costs, like they've said.

Plenty of competition in the space that will keep margin growth reliant on cost control, not expansion imo.

They've done the right thing with 'investment in price'. This means selling cheaper due to competition and weak demand, but against more cost increases, I would caution against anything electric happening on the growth front at all. Reducing skus will dress up lfl sales if they formulate the measure on product lines. I think they just do it on stores, right? Hopefully they don't massage that.
