Adam its crazy that Barapukuria mine was authorised - undeground mine, limited extraction, high labour/high risk, limited lifespan and huge extraction cost make the coal actually more expensive than importing.

Feasibility study on open pit mining Phulbari recommended mine approval but has been ignored by Hasina's corrupt govt for many years.

I'm not sure if this is the original feasibility study or another report completed by Chittagong University 2019. Interesting they say they spoke to local people and the people are desperate for the mine to happen for the money compensation. The feasibility study states all the water aquifer problems can be dealt with.

But as an energy deficit country it will not a smart solution for Bangladesh. Exploiting coal using underground mining method. For underground mining production rate, recovery will be low and cost will be high enough. But it can be feasible under current energy scenario of Bangladesh. So government should take a project of detail feasibility study for implementation of underground mining method in Phulbari Coal Field as open pit mining can’t be used there. Again it is high time to try to implement these types of mega projects with own financing instead of foreign company. Then it will be easy to motivate local people and leaders not to protest against the project as historically foreign companies take illegal advantage from our national resources'

Last fundraise Feb24 was £2m for 30m shares. No TR1 was ever issued however sp sunk from 10p to around 5p in the weeks after so I'd hazard a guess they were forward sold into the rise.

That money runs out July25 so there will have to be a further fundraise in the pipeline. I'm hoping Tang pulls another rabbit out of the bag off Powerchina so the sp rises substantially so there is less dilution. Unless somebody wants to keep the sp down so more shares are issued.........

Not really a big difference between buys and sells today, certainly doesn't justify a near 30% drop from the opening high. It was 13m against 5m yesterday to stay level and 5m to 2.5m for Mondays big rise.

Either a big sell is being worked or possibly a fundraise has been forward sold to take advantage of the rise. Who knows how the market is being manipulated but 2p is a great price right now and fully expect a bounce tomorrow.

Lol no not sold Searcher but will be looking to add further once the fundraise is done. I'm still hopeful of a positive outcome if the BNP can win the election, but the fundraise is not something we can just pretend is not coming as it has massive implications for investment values.

There will be massive dilution - fundraise will most likely be the full 150m shares, 1p is estimated price given currently sp is bouncing around 1.5p and 33% discount will be given. Then there's the share payments and success fee share payments, the Polo loan converted to shares, and whatever else Tang can squeeze out. There is monster dilution to come for sure.

That Yunus is a wily old fox. After forcing out Hasina the students called for Yunus to run the country. Surely Yunus wasn't picked by random, this was all part of a plan. Now it's the next stage of that plan - the formation of a new political party. The student protest party 'National Citizen Party' announces its line up. If they win the election will they once again call to Yunus to 'help' them into government?

I called it previously that Yunus is loving being in control and he has absolutely no intention of stepping aside, and that he would eventually start his own party. And make no mistake the student party is a trojan horse for him to stay in power. Soros and his election interference skills will ensure the election will be a formality for the students and Yunus of course will be asked to stay on for a while.

2 certainties here - there'll be no mine under Yunus and GCM has to raise funds, with massive dilution coming. We are hoping elections can come December 2025 latest, and that the BNP can actually win.
