Take a step back bakky and think. The real reason for being here now is capital gain. The dividend yield, even progressive, is unlikely to be > IUKD etf that is also much less risky. At least for quite a while.
Some think this way, see a recent gain and move on. If that pushes the price below a sell trigger point others automatically sell = downdraught.
If you are liquid at that point, and see a positive future, then you buy & get a good top-up price.
The thought I have here is who long before the tide in the mmx market will stay in. Even SJL alluded to how long a few posts back. If they dont sell up within some period the tide will go out and valuation at exit be less high. Then even holding for capital gain is unsure.
If I was here for the dividend I wouldnt be here and I dont think anyone else should too unless in <= 6p in which case the yield will be not too bad and a capital gain.
This is a one trick pony, a low cost dividend orientated etf is more segment and geographically diverse and much less risky. Time will come to sell up. Hope management get an exit soon.
