Kempey,
I don't think traders are necessarily making that much money here... I think what is more likely happening is that anyone buying in below 3p was sat watching some other shares start to turn blue a lot faster than GGP and so sold off a few to catch a spike elsewhere...
It happens! But they invariably end up out of pocket because of it (I know because I'm tried it many times in the past myself with modest but variable success). Thhe good news is that they will end up back here investing again due to Golden Rule: FOMO!
I'm sitting tight here... got a low average and could easily take profit to trade elsewhere... but still have more faith here than anywhere else in the market at the moment.

Olderbutwiser,
I agree 100% with your earlier post. 18 thousand deaths from flu on average each year... one spike in 2014-15 to just under 30,000... and not a whisper from the media?!?
The world's gone mad in a hand cart IMHO

Seems odd to me that the CEO of Newcrest would be willing to air such unequivocal support and unbridled enthusiasm in his recent media interviews for GGP and Havieron without "thinking hard" & carefully considering the available evidence first....
would he?
I doubt he would have signed off on stage 2 finance either - if there had been any doubt about the size and quality of this discovery... or embarked on a raft of measures designed to fast-track Havieron towards production...would he?
The outcome here seems about as "nailed-on" as anything ever is in life - and as an investor on AIM... that's good enough for me!

Granted: plenty of volatility... but I would hazard a guess that as the MM's dropped the price there was a mad rush for warrant holders to convert... hence the 3p resistance. If - or once they are "all" clear.... there should be plenty of upward movement from here on in IMHO.
I think the recent drop has allowed plenty of opportunity for trading "opportunists" - but if you were a "little" too greedy (mentioning no names) then I think you're now going to have to pay just a "little" more...
Let's see what the next weeks and months bring to the party shall we...

"To 9p - or not to 9p... that is the question!"

Thanks Stout.
Sadly, can't claim it was down to my investment skill - I took a small loss of ESL (my last other holding).
Watching the carnage unfold... and even whilst watching GGP drop... I still felt more relaxed than ever about my investment here. Yes it would have been great to have sold a traunch off at 5p and to have bought back even more shares now - but given the good news RNS's we have been receiving of late and the amazing Havieron updates which would have ignited the market at any other time IMHO...
... then I honestly think it is all a question of time before this investment REALLY comes good for LTH's.
GL A :-)
Once all the hysteria dies down... and the dust settles... I expect a re-rate here to double figures.
Clearly there's no safe haven in the stock market at present - but I reckon GGP is as near as damn it. I liquidated all my other stocks weeks ago and now only hold here.

Cheers for the advice!

Anyone able to offer any advice on gold / silver trading via stocks? Am considering buying physical gold / silver through the Royal Mint... but wondered about possibility of trading stocks in same... something I have never looked into before...
Anyone who has any experience of this... all advice welcome?

RA - LOL! :-)
In times of crisis only the fit (businesses) survive & Anguish has been running on life support (placings) for far too long to recall.
Shareholders should of insisted that Tidswell self-isolate a long LONG time ago IMHO!

Yes... Leo "They're on me!"

We agreed ( for once) Maddog... must be a sign!!!! ;-)
Joking aside... Crocqman... yes, my cycling trip through France, Austria, Slovenia and Italy looks like it won't be going ahead this year and two lots of elderly parents in "potential" lock-down to consider.
2020 is turning out to be a real bummer!

Agreed Maddog:
I think the planning meeting is very likely to be cancelled / delayed now. Public servants are generally the first to take full advantage of a crisis - as (unlike the self-employed) they still get paid to stay at home!
Rumours of self-isolating the old isn't going to help either... as many councilors are "just that!"

Excellent Clip Tiggerman.
Thanks for posting!

Hi Wolf,
If you are referring to the potential litigation case against Angus, I have had no direct contact. I took the decision not to join, as I felt it would curtail my ability to be openly critical of management (?!?LOL) here.
I do "sincerely" wish others well who have decided to pursue this though.
Best regards,
YL ;-)
Torreaguas: "The tears will flow when people buying at these levels make a profit. I know it’s hard to bear but making a profit on Angs is possible you know.."
LOL... Don't know exactly when - rather flies in the face of the FACTS!?!?!
I suppose the folk buying in at 15p thought so too... as did those buying in at 12p & 10P & 8p & 6p & 4p & 2p &1p and 0.5p (now)...
... but hang on a minute: I think I see a familiar pattern forming here...
Don't you?

Have a good day!
YL ;-)
Tidswell... Lucan... RL... what do they have in common - I wonder?
Ocelot...
I'm sorry, but it all boils down to trust.
And I don't trust this BOD to do the best for shareholders. We've seen Tidswell put himself FIRST many times already.
YL ;-)
Ocelot,
I said in the past that I don't trust RL. Whatever happens to Angus, IMHO, he will have an inside line and walk away unscathed. I still wouldn't rule out a coup to seize assets on the cheap and take the company private.
We'll see what unfolds.
