Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Hi Ocelot,
Sadly the two companies are not alike:
One has proven time & time again to be run by trustworthy professional management who also have the backing of a much larger & highly respected industry player. Numis (one of the market's most highly regarded brokers currently values them at 6p).
Angus - on the other hand - have a tainted history of dodgy share trading, forced boardroom coups, missed deadlines, failed operational missions and amateur & petulant behaviour... none of which has added shareholder value and has all but destroyed company credibility.
The other company has a proven track record of delivery... is well funded, protected to an extent against the current global crisis, and in all likelihood will re-rate significantly some time later this year...
Meanwhile, Angus is badly managed, poorly funded, and will bear the full brunt of any fallout from difficult market conditions. Investors will seek out safe havens and remove their support from all but the most reliably managed companies in the weeks and months ahead.
Angus already badly need new shareholder investment to allow RiverFort to convert... fewer and fewer buyers and the money pit for Tidswell & chums dries up for good I'm afraid... the next few months will be critical and "ANY" kick-backs on timeline... or refusals on planning... or operational disasters will be terminal for this company IMHO.
YL :-(
Yanis...
Like you said (and I agree) all AIM company shares go up and down. The clear difference between investing here & there - for me - is that I trust the other's management... they are articulate...professional... and have delivered over and above what they promised over the last eighteen months.
Nobody could argue that Angus have done anything other than FAIL repeatedly. Why anyone still trusts them enough to average down here is quite beyond me!?!?!?
Like Wolf says: "it's pure gambling" here... and I would add that the odds are seriously stacked against you IMHO.
I "genuinely" don't want to see anybody else lose money here again.
YL ;-)
Yanis: "How would you feel if after spending all this time to deter people from buying, the SP does indeed does at least a 2-bag from this level?"
I would be "genuinely" happy for LTH's who are currently underwater. The problem is... most LTH's would need this to multi-bag before seeing anything like a clear profit.
Whatever happens... my advice would be if you do see a profit here... run for the hills and never "EVER" look back!
Other companies do go up & down... that's for sure... but a certain gold explorer I am invested in has seen a very healthy rise from the ashes of circa 0.5p (Anguish territory) to 4.5p over the past two years. Look what Angus has achieved in that time by comparison!!!!!! Said gold explorer is also bringing good news after good news to the market and is fully funded (No death spiral merchants in sight!) IMHO... I will be seeing more profit there... than you can ever hope of achieving under Toxic Tidswell's leadership here :-(
Regardless... I do wish you good fortune.
YL :-)
Yanis...
Your choice and I respect that.
But why not consider cutting your losses here by investing in other "safer" far better managed AIM companies with infinitely better prospects - than chasing your losses here - hoping and praying that Tidswell & co will suddenly "somehow" turn over new leaf!?!?!
I am telling the truth when I say I have made up my losses here elsewhere... If I had remained invested here... I would only have been deeper underwater still!
YL ;-)
Wolf... ja51....
In his defence, Tor is "probably" applying Maddog logic:
which clearly states that the lower the SP goes... the more you top up and the more you are in profit!?!?!?!
YL ;-)
By the way, Crocqman... it's a relief to be able to debate with an educated - informed - investor for once.
I wish you well with your investments
YL ;-)
Hi Crocqman,
I would be "genuinely delighted" for all LTH's if Anguish broke their duck and delivered for once... ANY success would certainly make for a welcome change I'm sure we would all agree on that?!?!?
But they really do need to deliver something... ANYTHING... this time for real.
We've already had far too many failed promises for anyone to take this BOD's word seriously. They are clearly experts at can-kicking - but sadly they just cannot be trusted to deliver.
Anything attached to Tidswell is HIGH RISK... as far as past history here goes... he is a liability and nicknamed "Toxic" for very good reason.
Fortunately, I have already made back my losses here by trading in other far safer AIM stocks. I don't think sitting and hoping for "a leopard to change it's spots" is the best strategy... but the choice is for everyone to make...
YL ;-)
I am simply applying logic here, Torreaguas...
"What goes around - comes around" and with the same failures in charge here... it's not rocket science to assume they are going to fail all over again. If they could point to even "ONE" success I might think differently and give them the benefit of the doubt... but they are serial failures!
It beggars belief that on their own website they actually claim immunity in the current market place because they are not producing anything!?!?!?
Should we be taking bets on how soon Tidswell blames Coronavirus for the next delay / failure to deliver by Anguish Energy... because it's coming... sooner than "anyone" here sees a sustained profit!
YL ;-)
Torreaguas: "They seem to think seeing other people lose makes them feel better."
Quite the opposite actually... it's ramper's like yourself that encourage holders to average down and newbies to invest and lose money as RiverFort's conversion is scheduled to continue well into the Summer of this year! (But I'm sure you knew that).
Anyone might think that some posters were here "specifically" to assist Riverfort's dumpathon... by encouraging new investors...
...or maybe I've just grown just too cynical having seen what's been PROMISED and what's actually been DELIVERED here over the past years!?!?!?!
Going by past experience we haven't seen anywhere near the bottom here yet IMHO.
YL ;-)
Those BIG rises were coming last year too... as I recall... only we got a 95%+ fall in share price instead - due to mismanagement... devious trading (by JTP) and a forced coup (by JTP).
So with Toxic Tidswell "still" in control... what miracles of mismanagement can we expect this year?
Never mind, because according to maddog and yourself... if you buy high and average down as the price drops, you are actually in profit?!?!?!
This trading lark is easier than I ever thought!
YL ;-)
Wolf... LOL! ;-)
The man from Alicante he say "NO!"
YL ;-)
Has been snoozing for far too long IMHO... about time Newcrest rang the BIG alarm bell and woke up The Market!!!!!!!!!
YL ;-)
See you again at 0.5p then Torreaguas.
I promise I'll still be here... not hiding under a rock.
Bye for now!
YL ;-)
Still see only sells this morning Torreaguas...
RiverFort I expect... how many millions yet to dump?
I know that a good sign to look for is the SP going down (again)
Oh dear....
YL ;-)
Maybe you pressed sell by mistake Torreaguas.... don't see any buys this a.m?
Maddog...
Don't mean to be pedantic... but that's "two" words. Can you see now why you have so much difficulty with your trading profit & loss account?
YL ;-)
That's quite okay Maddog, because by following your - "questionable" - logic, It turns out that I'm in profit here too?!?!
YL ;-)
I already told you LL... I decided to try out Toxic Tidswell's rule book: "say one thing and do another!"
I've lost money here (as have most!) so whenever I look in - I like to post the odd FACT to float above the sea of rainbow drivel that otherwise fills this BB.
I am posting less often though - and If you stop asking me questions - I will post less still.
YL ;-)
Sujood: "PS I'm excited."
How many times can you still get excited about a company that have spectacularly FAILED at "everything" so far without exception?
The sensible money will sit this one out on the sidelines and wait to see if Angus are able to break their duck and actually DELIVER for once.
If they do... then I am sure plenty of traders will invest in the hope of actually seeing the SP rise instead of fall... but if Angus FAIL (again) then at least they won't be funding the salaries of this bunch of amateurs for yet another year!
YL ;-)
