It's called "holding management to account" you should try it!
It will help your future investments by permanently weeding out the repeat offending life-style directors on AIM.

I'm sure many here remember Tidswell's tweet about the water isolation plugs from the USA in March 2019 that were going to instantly resolve all issues at Brockham?
Still there on his Twitter page for all to see!
And I quote: "For uk onshore simple proven existing tech is best! No reason to reinvent the wheel."
Don't blame yourself for being hoodwinked Wolf... "all" PI's were led by the nose ring on that one!
YL ;-)
I wouldn't worry... right about now FOMO should be kicking in hard among the day traders and fence sitters. You just never know when "THE" news will land.
... and would you ever forgive yourself if trading was suspended on the back of a potential buy-out. I know I wouldn't!

Agreed, Wolf.
Clearly some folk are afraid of anything that doesn't fit with their agenda.
Others can say what they like about myself & others here (and frequently do) but I don't feel the need to run crying to admin about it.
Back onto the subject of Angus:
I find it truly astonishing that management are being congratulated - by some - for their foresight in investing in gas. I guess all the wasted money on oil assets over the past years (before gas was even on their radar) was just a trial run then and great value for money?
Saltfleetby is Angus's last chance saloon - seemingly acquired out of desperation rather than a product of good forward planning.

LL,
I didn't suggest regular posters were rampers.
If you had understood the thread of my argument, I was merely suggesting that the previous "enthusiasts" highlighted by Crocqman, were no different to the current "enthusiasts" in that they both trusted management to deliver. The previous ones simply recognised the error of their ways too late...
YL ;-)
LL,
Sadly, I guess grown-up debate doesn't appeal to all. Some would clearly prefer the debate to be closed down and try their best to silence dissenting voices.
Insecurity or agendas I guess... pity. As I said... I thought Crocqman spoke a lot of common sense last night. His two posts were probably the best I have read here in quite some time.
YL ;-)
Crocqman,
Pity. I thought we had a balanced debate last night. We even reached a kind of consensus ;-)
I wonder what caused the issue and why it was reported?

Nothingspecial:
Despite all wanting to make money here "It's not what you do... it's the way that you do it" that counts.
Believe it or not: some people (even on an anonymous BB) still foster respect from others... ie: Paddy
... whilst others (naming no names) come across as highly questionable and thoroughly unpleasant.
YL ;-)
Jollifant...
GGP are "LIGHT YEARS" away from the previous situation with Newmont. I can tell you that from first hand experience as an LTH. Bears no comparison whatsoever!
YL ;-)
"In my experience that is code for a gang of traders who get together to pump up shares and leave their fellow investors holding the baby when they get out. "
Gunslinger... In that case we weren't very successful ones... and probably need to stick to our day jobs. LOL!

Ocelot,
You only know I sold at a loss because I shared that with you.
How do I know that you are a holder... or any of the other regulars here for that matter?
This space was created as an open platform to anyone to debate companies and their potential... let's continue doing that.
YL ;-)
I think you will find that some larger holders were selling down consistently over a period to drop the SP & having triggered a few stop losses and got the MM's on-side, have then bought back in - those same shares - at a lower level IMHO
YL ;-)
Ocelot,
I am a member of a small "informal" private investment group. My views are shared by my friends and family (some of whom are still invested here and have been invested for longer than me in at least two cases).
Whilst clearly my views are not everyone's... they are the shared views of several LTH's I am in regular contact with.
YL ;-)
Ocelot...
LTH's such as those who have been here for a few weeks or months you mean? LOL!
I think I have served my time and am still entitled to hold management to account for my losses.
The current batch of cheerleaders have nowhere near as much mileage as me (even when you lump them all in together) and are - in any case - are likely to sell out on the next mini-spike never to be seen or heard of again anyway.
YL ;-)
LancashireLife,
"Everyone" here has an agenda... and everyone on every board has an agenda too. If you find a board without one... please let us all know and we'll award them the special unicorn flying over a rainbow prize.
My history is infinitely longer than yours with this company and there for all to read. I stand by it. Nothing to hide.
Clearly some people here do not understand the meaning of the word "debate" and prefer to silence dissent (Ja51 for instance?).
A pity really because if you are "genuine" about seeing long term returns won your investments then quizzical minds and dissenting voices bring much needed balance to an otherwise orchestrated cheer-leading hymn sheet mentality. If there is nobody here to challenge management & hold them to account ... nothing will ever improve IMHO.
YL ;-)
LL,
LTH's are not looking for "price action" - that's just the day traders... they are looking for meaningful... GENUINE returns and these will only be crystallized by strong professional management & operational success.
Offtheball,
I have no personal "vendetta against Tidswell." "Everyman and his dog" knows that this company would have infinitely more credibility if he left - that's all.
YL ;-)
Torreaguas,
By your reasoning Anguish SP should be in double figures by now then... because my scepticism is easily outnumbered on a daily basis by four to one at least on this BB.
I'm sure it cannot be anything to do with the strength or weakness of our arguments... or God-forbid have anything to do with the performance of the management of this company.
YL ;-)
Maddog,
No... still not being paid.
You have a short memory... but please feel free to ask me the same question again after you've swam past the mermaid & blue castle (again)
YL ;-)
" it just goes to show a dead horse can come a live again"
Maddog... miracles do happen... but you had to wait 7 years to see one... which was kind of the point I was making about Angus.
YL ;-)
Maddog,
Just to be clear: You asked me a question... I answered it for you.
You've just asked me "another" question (perhaps you didn't realise?) the answer to which I have actually already answered... but for your personal benefit:
I'm paid nothing. I'm just a "badly-bitten" PI that's all.
Hope that's clear enough for you?
Enjoy your spike & don't spend it all at once.
YL ;-)
