Karelian has an extensive list of assets, although you wouldn't know it from their website. There is a very big picture to emerge.

Tick -tock, I think you are spot on, and they have mastered the art of the fluffy rns. If you think about it, they recently renewed all the Riihivara Licences quietly. Remember Rio Tinto did all the sampling there and paid for all the analysis in Melbourne at their own facility (£150,000 if i remember). The results were I amazing I believe at the time. Rio Tinto gave Riihivaara a high category rating and we were told that Riihivaara was "likey to be diamondiferous". Karelian then moved on to the next location... anomaly 5. So millions were raised back in 2015/16 for all the Riihivaara work, but they didn't bother spending that extra £10,000-£20,000 to confirm if Riihiivara was diamondiferous. Why? Because by not having to announce confirmation that Riihiivaara is diamondiferous to the market, they could keep a lid on any favourable market sentiment as Tick-tock said. Its obvious Riihivaara has diamonds and they know it. They had funding coming out of their ears back then, placings were oversubscribed and always at premiums. Thats what makes the last placing at a massive discount for such a small placing unusual. I don't believe for one second that they couldn't raise £150,000 (remember the other £100,000 was the 2 directors) at market price or above and I'm not aware of the placing having been offered to any major shareholders . I think its highly likely that KDR is been prepared for a takeover (or partial takeover) by a major (or two). Its all about the asset values and not the share price with kdr. It doesn't appear to matter to management if the share price is 2p or 20p, they only care about the takeover price and that where the zeros get added on. As the prof said "This could all change very quickly". It must be near time to light this up!

Also worth pointing out that the cross country electricity grid runs straight through Karelians Lahtojoki South Licence too. What are the odds? Even Seitapera has a major road. All of Karelians Licences have great access to roads and electricity. A lot of land is being locked down by the company. Smart work.

Its Genius. The reservation is as a gap running right through it. Its no surprise to me that the main north-south power grid runs right through KDRs ground. If Carlsburg did reservations!! Massive pylons and power lines. Always a plus.

Anybody spot the new reservation approved in Finland on 1st November 2023 for Karelian Diamonds. Now why would they quietly acquire that. Outopumpu had the Kotalahti Nickel mine not to far away (think closed now)

It suggests KDR are serious about Nickel, Copper, Gold etc. Wonder who suggested KDR get that ground. Its suggests that the results from Northern Ireland must be good and KDR will have another string to their bow.

I suspect there must be a Jappila 2 coming, just like Kuhmo 1/2.

The market has no clue here as to what is afoot.

Apparently diamonds are often found in igneous rock like Granite. So I believe the granite reference is actually a plus.

Of the 23 targets sampled, 8 encountered granite bedrock. Why tell us that in the previous rns on Kuhmo? Can we infer from this that the other 15 targets sampled encountered Kimberlite, or just didn’t reach bedrock. ?

Will we see an initiation of coverage from the broker? Would be nice if it included all the KDR assets.

Prof said we have found it now. A diamond province with some large kimberlites with fancy diamonds. the majors will want this. Perhaps it wont just be Rio Tinto. Either way, we could see a tiny minnow become a mid-tier overnight.

KDR director Howard Bird was Senior Vice President, Exploration at SouthernEra Resources for 14 years i believe.

This was in 1992. Worth reading. But I fully expect this to happen to KDR. (bigger picture to emerge)

What is the hold up here? I hope the company are chasing this up. I cannot believe that the Land survey of Finland have not granted legal force here. Are they still waiting on the land court? Tukes must be scratching their heads wondering why is it taking so long.

All the while the KDR twitter feed continues to put out copper articles. Its as if the company don't even want to admit that they are in Finland and its about diamonds. Management and Directors will not be able to sidestep and avoid questions in the public forum of the AGM, and fluffy answers wont cut the mustard this year for those in attendance.

The 2.5p massively discounted placing was a cruel thing to do to existing shareholders, and its hugely naive of management to think there wont be a backlash from this. Whatever news comes between now and Christmas, it will likely be very good, because I don't believe the directors went into that placing with their eyes closed. They will have known that it would anger the shareholders, especially given the discount was unnecessary and completely avoidable. They have a few weeks yet to save face.

Agree Focus4, its a small building/ outbuilding. It and its surrounding land must have significance. Maybe it is forward planning, to avoid the delays caused by the type of appeals by landowners at Lahtojoki. I notice that the circle crosses the laneway/ private road, so it could be strategically important to have right of way on the lane, or for storage of core samples, or machinery etc. After all the access at Lahtojoki took time to sort out, if I remember correctly.
