The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
There is a new Final results slide pack on HUR's website that may clarify a few points about the next steps towards commissioning, start-up and first oil as well.

I forgot to mention that it will be detected by satellite as well and flagged up as a new source. There is also I believe a weekly reporting requirement for HUR to report new flaring to DECC.
Apart from the nearby Foinaven, Glen Lyon, Clair, Solan fields and numerous support and fishing vessels, I doubt anyone will be looking at all............;-)
I might stretch to a new bicycle I suppose. My current one has done about 10,000 miles and is getting a bit tyred so a small windfall would be nice.
I had a chat with a mate who has been involved with commissioning a couple of traditional fields and indirectly a couple of FPSO's from onshore. Every first Oil is different. The first tanker load may not be a full one. As it is the first offload, there may be a temptation to do something of a dry run to test procedures, processes, plant etc. and to check that everything works to plan with perhaps only half full tanks. They likely won't want the AM tanks nearly full and then discover early doors that there is an offload problem and so have to stop production. Additionally, the first few hundred/thousand barrels may have a small risk of contamination so may require quarantine and special storage & treatment depending on the risk. Potentially the first few loads may appear a little bit random and so drawing conclusions as to actual production volumes would be unreliable until things settle down.
When will the next update from HUR likely be? The 2018 Final data is due next month and will likely be around the 10th based upon last year. Presumably there will also be an RNS about the Spirit funded Transocean rig mobilisation before then as they did promise 1Q? What about anything else?
I wouldnt be surprised particularly if it was more than 6 weeks. Some FPSO's have taken 6 months to a year to declare first oil, admttedly those were much larger projects with many more checks and balances needed.
Coverage is quite inconsistent that far north. I regularly look for the nearby Glen Lyon FPSO as a reference point for the Lancaster field but most days it hardly ever appears on AIS, yet is one of the largest offshore facilities West of Shetland.
Agreed, not seen anything for a while.
Although I didnt refresh the screen every minute, AM seemed to slow to about three knots and didn't noticably change course for the Chopper landing.
AM has just slowed a little and the chopper is nearly there.
For precision manoeuvring pretty much all skippers would prefer wind and waves in the same direction and preferrably bang on the vessels bow, it is one less thing to worry about.
Blimey, 7 knots, they are in a hurry compared to the previous trips north when they were struggling to make 5 some days ! Has the weather window changed again?
Both the AM and the GD do seem to me underway and moving North East.
Agree definitely a window Monday pm thru to Tues pm based upon current forecasts.
Has anyone noticed the peculiar tracking pattern of the Grampian Dynamic today? Rather than anchor up near the AM they seem to have spent most of the day drawing a saltire tracking pattern nearby. Rugby fans geting rwady for the Wales game perhaps ? Or, more likely they are testing something.
It is interesting that the GS hasn't anchored near the AM as usua, l but has been trolling about nearby ever since they got back to Cromarty. I cant think why it would do that unless it has a task to do.
Well I thought it was funny :)
