Since when was it up to Bamps if people get carried away, just let them who cares? If that’s true it’s a nice tactic, be supportive for years then inform the board you’ve sold, point out the negatives and why the share price is going to drop then say I’m not posting anymore see ya 👋

I don’t think anyone has an issue with him selling, more that he has had an epiphany Monday morning when the market has opened, and opened very strongly with historic all time high gold price. Haven’t seen him pointing out all the negatives all over the weekend like what happens with positives?

Why not just say I have decided to slice a few as we’ve been on such a good run, not follow it up with a list of reasons why the company is about to get hit by the market? He knows full well this board is 90% full of people who know nothing about investing and a lot will follow him into selling. Their own fault but still….

Never in a million years would Bamps post that without trying to manipulate others into selling and bringing the price down.

Element - You have just described all legitimate reasons why the share price fell so low? None of that is just a random MM deciding they want it to be 5p to get one over on PIs. Obviously if numerous massive shorts are opened the price will go down, just like massive long positions will see the price rise, just like it is now.

Do you actually believe a MM woke up one day at 38p and said I’m taking this down to 5p?

How/why would the MM drop this from 38p to 5p? We dropped because of the orphan period and it appeared that we would run out of money and go bankrupt or be taken out for a few pence before SD pulled off an incredible deal. Some nonsense posted on here.

What made you think they would stop printing trades after hours when the shorts crossed a random threshold? Standard practice on shares across the market.

Speedy - It would also be plain daft to just invest everything in to any form of gold, whether it be GGP or physical. GGP is riskier but likely to have greater returns in the next year or two. With the way the world/government is going there is plenty of risk in holding physical gold whether it is in your hand or being held for you by a company somewhere.

I like Dips view on reassessing every few months and consider each stage as a new investment somewhat. See too many saying they won’t be happy with £5/6 etc because they have been invested for x amount of years. The market could not care less how long any PI has been invested for. I see between £5-6 on the turn of the new tax year and will be over the moon with the progress we have made as should everyone else.

Element - Yes we were far undervalued at 5p and everyone could clearly see that, it is much harder to see when you are overvalued. Looking back it is clear as day that 38p was a ridiculous SP for the assets we possessed at the time, but it didn’t feel that way when we were in it and I don’t remember many respected posters pointing it out at the time. After reflection I’m sure some did know it was coming and adjusted their holdings quietly in the background, hence the enormous selling pressure.

And I wasn’t having a go either your knowledge of GGP is exceptional just pointing out that when you’re in the thick of it, it does cloud all of our judgement and the markets are not rational all of the time.

Hydro- You say you can’t put an arbitrary price on this of £5/6 but then go on to say you can see it hitting an arbitrary price of £20+.

If people want to lock in profit or diversify then it is up to them it won’t affect the company a few people selling a fell grands worth here and there.

We also don’t know that gold is going to another arbitrary price of $8k, there is a chance but no one knows for certain. Before giving out investment advice don’t forget you informed everyone when we were at 14p on the way down to 4.8p that it would be ridiculous to sell any and everyone should be loading up. Shows even the most omniscient among us like yourself can get it horribly horribly wrong.

Tome - Your clogging up the board with numerous posts about people clogging up the board.

If you blame all price movements on manipulation then I can guarantee SETS will make no difference to you and you will still blame manipulation for all price movements. Except when it goes up of course.

But even if you are correct and we got taken out next week for 450, everyone would be disappointed but it’s still higher than today so you wouldn’t sell up either way would you? So I would say don’t worry about it.

Paul - If you think there are so many red flags why are you still invested?

MattyBoy - You always say there is clear and obvious manipulation but never give any reasons or evidence. If there is manipulation can you tell us who is doing it and why they are doing it if it is so blatant? Without generic cliches like ‘mates rates’, that you get on every single BB that is down. Said it before but funny no one claims manipulation when shares are on the rise everyone just pats themselves on the back.
