Autumn - You say we are not completely tracking gold which is obviously true, we are far outperforming the gold price. But I disagree that we are not gaining any value at all while we are adding resource/reserves at every opportunity. On the way up when the price of gold hit these levels it is at now, we were still under £4. So all the extra ounces of gold we keep adding and the progress we are making as a company is still being reflected in the share price even after we have taken a massive hit recently.

Saying that of course the price of gold is still the main thing affecting our share price. As I and others have said before it is more and more a coiled spring, if the gold price snaps back to anywhere around $5000 then our share price will absolutely fly towards £10.

Just a waiting game at the minute. GLA.

Ponie can you really not think of any reason why the share price has fell recently? And you surely don’t really believe there is someone in the shadows trying to keep the SP down just to ruin the news we are expecting over the next few weeks?

That was me Monty, but I didn’t say you were being subtle, I said you think you are being subtle but you are not. My main issue was you saying share price will go up, down or stay the same and then came on trying to take credit for being right when inevitably one of them happened.

If you think we are heading further down over the next few years have you sold the lot and moved on to something else?

Golf - It is easy to tell us about all the amazing trades well after they have happened. Next time tell us when you have bought, and then tell us when you have sold. Anyone can say they bought in on a dip and sold on the spike ages after the fact.

Obviously from looking at your posts you try and spread negativity about GGP and think you are being subtle which you aren’t. In your posts you are always ambiguous about whether you think something will or won’t happen, so in a few weeks you can point to it and try to make out like you were right.

Why don’t you point to a SP that you think we will get to, and when, and then if it happens then fair enough you can copy and paste it and said look at me I was right….

Monty - You weren’t mocked just pointed out that you stated the obvious, it will either hit 540 or it won’t….the same as every other number, and I would say past few days has proved you completely wrong not right. Gold has taken a hammering and our SP has held up remarkably well considering. You said everyone should have a negative view of GGP while gold is in a downtrend trend which is nonsense. I have never, nor has anyone with a brain ever stayed invested in a share when they have got a negative view of the company.

He was never in a million years going to drop the rates with inflation being what it is, everybody knows that especially trump. As long as he has promised rate cuts in the near future Trump will be more than happy…

It is easy to overlook the progress we have made in the background just over the past few weeks. End of may we were a similar share price to what we are now but gold was more or less $250 higher than it is now. If gold recovers just that amount should take us to £8 and that is before any more good news lands….God knows what the SP will be WHEN gold gets back up to all time high!

Yes if interest rates go up it usually puts a lot of short term downward pressure on gold, but high inflation increases gold longer term.

Kent_man will be gutted if this deal comes to fruition. He seems to revel in the fact innocent people are dying on a daily basis on all sides and seems to celebrate when a peace deal falls through. What a weird empty little life some must lead….

Droverman - You say you’re not meant to trade brits just hold them long term but if you thought a sharp fall was around the corner, as many on here have claimed to have known, (but forgot to mention it before it happened), then of course you would have sold with the intention to buy them back at a later date?

Gold is notoriously hard to predict. It is not really a prediction to say gold will go up at some point in the future when it is following a thousand year trend.

A lot of people were saying anything a touch under $5000 was a steal, shows they know nothing but they will still keep up with random predictions in the hope of maybe being right at some point. A lot of gullible people on here probably bought a sackful off the back of recommendations to buy on here and now sitting on massive losses.

Monty how could you have wasted your time on GGP this time? If you knew gold was going to drop by this much surely you would have sold the lot and waited to buy back in?
