3.3p and pushing lower!

Inexcusable, we were at 16p end of last year, 12p in January this year (6 months ago).

Lucan is complicit to the SP deterioration with the confusion that he caused around Brockham.

He can sort this out with simple clear communication. Why is he not doing it? Why is he allowing this SP killing to continue?

If he knows of any negative issues at Brockham that affect the SP (price sensitive info) he must disclose it immediately, if not he would be braking the rules. He has not done so.

So why is he not clearing the confusion and stop the SP rot? Suspicious.

So, when is Brockham testing going to start?

Seen this quoted a few times - means nothing significant. Am I the only one that does not see the whole picture here.

As I see it, the published plan (that beat the start date) ... contains two stages - Stage ! and Stage 2 - which were supposed to run sequentially.

However, on successful completion of Stage 1 .... Stage 2 was effectively suspended until further notice ...

Yes "Preparatory Works" on the way ?? What exactly are they doing and how long are these going to last? When is well test equipment going to be ordered? Has it been ordered?

So, how long is a piece of string? How long are these preparatory works going to last?

When is the well testing equipment going to be ordered? The above implies that this will happen after the preparatory works have been completed (and partner consent obtained, but according to Alan this is standard practice).

So, nobody knows when Stage 2 will commence, except maybe those that are selling? No surprise that the SP is stack in quicksand in the all time lows

This is reminiscent of Vonk and Lidsey and considering the pledges that GL did on assuming his position this confusion is inexcusable.

Rvdav, my average is not as high as yours but we are in the same boat. I have 1.2 million shares at an average of ~6p ... down ~ £40k right now. Overstretched too and I now wish I kept my average in double digit too and not overextend.

Is it posts on here that induced the SP drop from above 4p 2 days ago? Have you noticed the trading action after the last RNS?

Lack of Brockham clarity is what is killing the SP. this SP rot is 100% the responsibility of GL.

The current Brockham situation is inexcusable.

The BOD published a very clear plan with firm timescales. This and the then open communication encouraged many LTHs and others to buy more shares. Now in heavy losses.

As Stage 1 works was completed, they paused the plan and introduced a lot of doubt and confusion. Now, we don’t know where we are at, oh yes ... preparatory works ...

WTF are these? What exactly are they doing? ... How long is it going to last? ... has the test equipment been ordered? If not, why not? Where they met with a problem during Stage 1 works and is stopping them from ordering the equipment? But this is SP sensitive and has to be announced. SP crushed (from the LTH’s point of view).

Why are they allowing this doubt and confusion to continue? What is in it for them? Very strange.

Has anybody got any ideas as to why we touched 3.5p today?

Another 6.5% drop on top of yesterday’s drop on the back of good news?

- Fully funded for a whole year, until March 2020, a lifetime in AIM universe.

- New gas field acquisition which according to GL will add another 4p to the SP. Win-win deal which even if it fails and has to be abandoned it will cost nothing to Angus, as per RNS, in fact the cost of abandonment is less than the received £2.5 million, will have some £ left!

- Monster Balcombe soon to be revisited.

- Brockham in the process of having its long delayed test

Why is the SP dropping? Any answers?

IMO is due to the confusion around Brockham testing.

The question is ... why did Angus create this confusion and does not clear it out.

If there was a price sensitive issue at Brockham then as per AIM rules Angus must announce it to the whole market. They haven’t, so we can assume that such an issue does not exist.

Why are Angus allowing this confusion to root and keep going? Does not make sense at all.

Brockham news will help the SP.

GL needs to address Brockham clearly. "Preparatory works under way ... " BS. Sounds like more excuses for further delays. What are they doing? When is stage 2 going to kick in?

WTF is GL up to?

RA, short term traders, particularly those that entered in the 2s and 3s have a different perspective for the SP. They are happy Because from this level is hard to loose.

LTHs that been here for a while are extremely disappointed with current SP level. FFS, we were at 12p this year in January after the Vonk Xmas holiday shutdown! There are still people here with averages in double digits.

So far GL hasn’t been good for LTHs. Hopefully he will now focus on Brockham and prove it and with a bit of luck it will flow and flow well. Fingers crossed.

CaptainStanley, I agree, slow and steady is best nobody can argue with this.

But, a bit more info on Brockham, going back to the transparency we had before the placing, GL talking a bit more about Brockham will definitely increase confidence and put an upward bias on the SP.

Current SP levels are a complete joke.

I don’t believe that these are placing shares - would you buy at 4.25p at placing and then sell these below 4.25p? I wouldn’t.

These are shares that were bought below that when the SP dropped to as low as 2.8p. Traders cashing in.

What puzzles me is that Angus float is 458.9 million shares.

Since placing at 4.25p on 30th April we traded in excess of 465 million shares below 4.4p, in excess of 420 million shares below 4.25p.

We traded one full float in the all time lows and we still cannot break above placing price of 4.25p - very strange.

The gas deal is an excellent deal for Angus but GL really needs to bring focus back on Brockham.

He has done his expectation management, now let’s get on with it and see what Brockham can do.

The gas deal is de-risked but market trust is already lost, this is why the SP is where it is right now.

GL really needs to prove Brockham and regain market trust ... then the gas field and Balcombe will be valued in the SP.

Re-establishing Market trust ... is what GL should be concentrating on. Brockham can do this.

The well test is already around 2 years late ... he needs to get on with this and put it behind us.

The gas field is a very good deal, win-win for Angus.

I like this deal, but is obvious from the SP reaction that right now only Brockham will help the SP.

I wish he will focus on Brockham for now and put it on top of the agenda.

If he brings back focus on Brockham we will be back up in double digit in no time.

Hopefully we will get a Brockham update tomorrow or early next week, upbeat and with some more detail in it as in the initial plan.

The more I look in to the gas deal, the more I like it. It looks like win-win for Angus.

Ocelot, If markets are not genuinely free without short selling, then why was short selling banned in the aftermath of the 2008 crush?
