Scullywag, they have blurred Brockham so much that failure has now been priced in. Why such confusion?

They promised more communication but every comm that comes out raises more questions and down goes the SP.

Shareholder value is in the value of the SP. I rather have Vonk back.

Even ukog SP dropped today because of all this negativity induced by angus.

We need to let these guys know how we feel. Maybe they'll change course, after all we partly own the company.

No point in burying the head in the sand and pretending all is well whilst the SP is decimated.

My average is much higher than yours. The SP has to 2-bag from here for me to break even.

I am pissed off with the current state of affairs ....

How on earth can the SP be at 3p? ---------- Brockham hasn't been tested yet but recent comms from Angus always induce doubt. What about Balcombe? slugged at 3000 bopd - why is the SP falling? 12% drop today? and from one all time low to the next?

Brockham Operations Update

Angus Energy (AIM: ANGS) is pleased to announce that after consideration of the recent results of the Brockham work programme, preparatory operations for the second stage will commence on the week of 17th June 2019.

The further preparatory work aims to ensure the borehole is in optimum condition for testing, and to give the best possible communication between the well and the fracture system in the formation. Once this has been completed then, subject to agreement of partners, well testing can commence to ascertain whether commercial hydrocarbon flows can be achieved from the BRX4Z well as envisaged per our timetable of 3 April.

Qualified Person's Statement:

Andrew Hollis, the Technical Director of the Company, who has over 40 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, has approved the information contained in this announcement. Mr Hollis is a Fellow of the Geological Society and member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

E_AL, I haven't said that any one of those three possibilities is true.

That is all I can see as possible reasons for the SP going into the all time lows and getting stuck in quicksand.

Have you got onother logical explanation for the SP tanking?

In view of what we have the SP should be heading up! ... Balcombe slugged at 3000 bopd and due to start soon ... Brockham is in the process of being tested and is expected to flow .... (and GL's gas fiield which according to him will add 4p to the SP on completion) ... how come it closed at the all time low close of 3.57p on Friday?

I agree with you that a leak of bad news is least likely, but is still a reason that if true could cause the SP to slide. Any other reasons?

In any case, whatever it is, and particularly if it is shorting, we should have had an MAR disclosure and we had none.

Around 278 million shares traded since 30th April, day of placing at 4.25p and the SP continually slides lower and lower ... is not normal.

Wealdpwr, haven’t mentioned the word fraud, we don’t know. Simply trying to make sense out of this by applying some logic and evaluating possibilities.

The lack of a disclosure on this apparent manipulation is indeed improper in the least. The reason to send it to the regulators is for them to apply their expertise and establish whether or not the rules have been complied with.

In my opinion for what is worth I am convinced that what we are now witnessing is market manipulation ... the SP at all time low close is way undervalued, makes no sense to be down here.

Balcombe slugged at 3000bopd and Brockham is expected to flow well, considering the flows at HH. And the gas field (not that I believe in it, is a diversion but) according to GL is worth 4p on its own when the deal is closed. How can we be at 3.7p?

I fully agree with you in that at the very least they should have issued a Market Abuse disclosure. They have not done that - why?

IMO there are three logical possibilities for this as far as I can see; PI’s are not selling down here in the large witnessed quantities:

- A leak of bad news, not public knowledge yet.

- Shorting on a large scale by chancers who either have inside info or will be forced to cover If positive news hits.

- Shorting by MMs followed with a placing to close (if this happens I would be straight to the FCA with no delay).

Which is it? Doesn’t matter anyway because what ever it is it deserves an MAR disclosure and we had none. Disgraceful.

I am contemplating contacting the regulators for the lack of a disclosure for now and leave the rest for July, if no change.

RA, agree at 3.57p Friday’s close Angus SP is significantly undervalued.

Also agree with gpmh’s statement in his last post that a return of positive sentiment will see the SP significantly rerate.

However, what concerns me now is the current negative sentiment which is 100% down to the Angus BOD’s recent actions.

They created this negative sentiment by first creating a climate of good communication, publishing the plan (I know same violin again) then breaking the plan, downplaying Brockham and shutting comms down.

The current negativity is 100% down to GL. The question is why?

The SP is very likely been manipulated and they kept quiet about this too ... they have not issued a disclosure.

This worries me. Who is selling large volumes in all time lows and why? These are not PIs selling and is my main concern.

He believes that the current SP at 3.575p reflects Angus’s actual valuation. All time low close ... beggars belief!

In the first interview, with the exception of Balcombe which clearly states that something will happen in June, I don’t read the rest (gas field and Brockham) as they will start kicking off in June, not clear from what GL has said that these are tight down to start in a specific month.

In the second interview (IG), GL does say 2 to 3 weeks.

As you rightly pointed out the 2 to 3 weeks are up this coming week, 18 working days from the 10th takes us to Wednesday.

I still don’t understand why no RNS or a tweet to say the well test equipment has been ordered. In any case, will hold the dogs back until July.

Is not a witch hunt, is just that the current state of affairs brings back painful memories of previous shenanigans.

They mislead us and costed us substantial losses.

To start with upon GL's arrival, they gave the impression of a changed and improved company with informative RNSs and tweets from both the Angus's official tweeter account and JTPs.

They published a plan showing continuous and seamless transition from stage 1 to stage 2 with no pause.

There was encouragement there with the apparently improved communications and the plan which implied a continuous and seamless transition from Stage 1 to Stage 2.

A lot of us LTHs, at that time, topped up large amounts of shares to bring down our averages and reduce the substantial losses that we incurred due to the BOD nonsense and change in MD.

Then, before completion of stage 1 we had the placing followed with the effective suspension of well testing at Brockham to analyse results and discuss with their partners.

The improved communication and the published plan that encouraged many LTHs to top up and average down was changed and the comms have become blurred and non-existent. Nothing on Brockham from Angus since 10th May and nothing from JTP since 24th June.

The negative sentiment of doubts and GL’s management of expectations and radio silence caused the SP to significantly drop in to mall time lows and keep declining instead of advancing as expected with the pending test.

The pause in testing was never communicated to us before, was not in the plan and to introduce it at this stage it shows that we were previously mislead and has costed us dearly.
