What don't you understand. M&P made their informal offer on the Thursday. The company reported it via RNS on Monday morning.

M&P informally offered 17p when the share price was 12p last Thursday before the BOD put the company up for sale. The company reacted by putting the company up for sale on the Friday and the SP rose to 16.5p. The company then publicly announced that they had received the informal offer from M&P and the SP rose to 17p.

No. We want about 3 RNS's.
1. A formal offer has been made at 29p.
2. A counter offer has been made at 35p.
3. A final offer has been made at 44p.

That would do nicely!

The company asked all shareholders who hold 1% or more of the issued shares to notify them. So that is why we are getting loads and loads of RNS from companies, etc.

I agree with you BBN. The additional rigs is a question of when. Probably after Pavo as you stated earlier.

Thanks PP for your input. The technical info I was reading was based onshore US.

What I was reading yesterday was that they jack the whole rig up and move it sideways. But from what you say it sounds like the rig is not that type.

I agree we should get news early next week on Calao-1 and GTE. I also believe that Rig1 will remain on the Indico pad for the next 2 to 3 years. From what I researched yesterday we can drill up to 18 wells from one pad. Also the technical information said it takes 2 hours to move a rig to the next position. I am not sure I can believe that though.

Does anyone know how many wells you can drill from a single pad? Cheers, YM

Great post Juxtapose. JW has worked a blinder over the past 12 - 18 months with the deals being worked through in the background. The reason why the SP is where it is now is the iis repositioning themselves. Once they have finished and the results for Calao-1 are announced we should start heading north again.

Hopefully the next news will be a whopper with drill results, 2nd rig, GTE partnership and 3rd party oil through OBA.

The longer we have to wait for news on Calao 1 the better it will be hopefully. If the well was a duster then I am sure we would have heard last week. GLA.

2. You don't find a 300ft oil column in isolation. It has to be part of a bigger trapping system
3. Look at the seismic and tell shareholders you are excited for the future of Amerisur

The updated JORC is on the way. This SP is going one way and that is up, up, up!

I am expecting news on Calao 1 on Monday 4th March. Lets hope we find the ocean of oil and the biggest find in Colombia ever.
