Pokerchips, I know, I know. This is old news. I wasn't saying you & Mary were wrong or that I was right. I said: I "think" it's the Record Date since the RNS and Prospectus were all so badly worded! I acknowledged that you might both be right but that was not how the documentation 'read'. I appreciate that you & Mary had prior experience of a similar situation but all I was saying is it's best to check with one's Broker or Petrofac IR.

However, what I was trying to point out last time I posted was that Petrofac is just adding to the confusion because if you look on Page 216 of the Prospectus it says: "Ex-Entitlement Date 26 October 2021"!!! Now you've got to admit, Pokerchips, that this is doubly confusing!!!

Open Offer Entitlements credited to stock accounts in CREST of Qualifying CREST Shareholders - As soon as practicable after 8.00 a.m. on 28 October 2021.

Latest recommended time and date for requesting withdrawal of Open Offer Entitlements from CREST - 4.30 p.m. on 5 November 2021.

Latest recommended time and date for depositing Open Offer Entitlements into CREST - 3.00 p.m. on 8 November 2021.

Latest time and date for splitting Application Forms (to satisfy bona fide market claims) - 3.00 p.m. on 9 November 2021.

Latest time and date for receipt of Forms of Proxy or submission of proxy appointments electronically - 10.00 a.m. on 10 November 2021.

Latest time and date for receipt of completed Application - Forms and payment in full under the Open Offer or settlement of relevant CREST instructions (as appropriate) - 11.00 a.m. on 11 November 2021.

BUT your Broker may be working to an earlier Timetable, so ALWAYS check with your Broker.

I had £5k in my ISA to invest, for which I could have used to Buy PFC Shares on 26 October 2021 @ 122p. I appreciate that it wouldn't have made much difference, Paddyboy1 but still...

r7632, if you're not happy with the initial advice you're getting or got from your Broker then raise a formal Complaint.
MaryBr190 swears by Hargreaves Lansdown but I can't count the number of times that HL has given me duff advice and I've had to recheck and recheck it. But that's still better than taking advice from anonymous nobodies on here, who you haven't got a hope in knowing their true background and credentials.

Don't ask on here, r7632, ask your Broker!!! You'll only get conflicting answers on here. MaryBr190 & Pokerchips on one side and a couple of others on the other side. You'll just get yourself confused. If it's important to you and you genuinely want to do it, ASK YOUR BROKER!

No doubt like nigh on every other Oil, Gas & Petrol company nowadays, they'' come up with a suitably 'Green' name that includes the word 'Energy' but steers clear of 'Petro'! :)
