Good points, Mary & ICC. This Stock has been so depressed for so long that once the OO is out of the way, I see no reason why it won’t return to the levels seen after the SFO case concluded ie 160-180p, without any good news RNSs. IMO, it’ll find a new level just above or below 200p to settle at, representing its true value. And the Shorters will withdraw. Then when the good news RNSs start rolling in, things will really start to Rock’n’Roll.
Yes, JG68, of course there’s Dilution but apart from the monies used to pay the £77m fine, the money from the Open Offer is still in the company.
Many observers who post on here, me included, are of the opinion that the PFC SP will fly once the Open Offer is in the rear view mirror. Especially if that is accompanied with more good news RNSs re new Contracts, etc. But who knows!
I’m taking up my 14,250 OO Entitlements in full and if the SP does dip once all the new OO Shares are in circulation then I shall be filling my boots with more!
Hi DanCUK, just spoke to Angus at HL and you/Gabriel are indeed correct - but it's a one-way thing only, so I was correctly advised on Friday. A Transfer of Entitlements from ISA to Fund & Share Account is OK because the Entitlements are LEAVING the Tax Wrapper whereas HMRC state the other way round is not allowed! Hope that makes sense!
But do bear in mind, Dan, that you will lose the Tax Free ISA benefits on your OO Entitlements! My friend is in exactly the same position as you but he's decided either to Sell some of his PFC Shares or some other Shares to fund the purchase of the PFC OO Entitlements so that they stay within his ISA.
That's very interesting, DanCUK, I asked HL the very same question on Friday but IN REVERSE i.e. as I'd got spare Cash in my ISA Account, could I transfer my PFC OO Entitlements to my ISA even though all my PFC Shares are in my Share & Fund Trading Account. They said categorically: "No"!
I shall phone them again now.
Hi Overandout121, that doesn't sound very useful. Trading212 shouldn't be awaiting anything. They should be well aware of what they need to communicate with their Clients i.e. you and should at least be in the process of preparing the Corporate Action Notices to their Client. If I were you I'd ring back and insist on speaking to someone who knows what they're talking about. Have you got your Petrofac Open Offer Entitlements 'Non-Tradeable' showing in your Account yet?
Pokerchips, I know, I know. This is old news. I wasn't saying you & Mary were wrong or that I was right. I said: I "think" it's the Record Date since the RNS and Prospectus were all so badly worded! I acknowledged that you might both be right but that was not how the documentation 'read'. I appreciate that you & Mary had prior experience of a similar situation but all I was saying is it's best to check with one's Broker or Petrofac IR.
However, what I was trying to point out last time I posted was that Petrofac is just adding to the confusion because if you look on Page 216 of the Prospectus it says: "Ex-Entitlement Date 26 October 2021"!!! Now you've got to admit, Pokerchips, that this is doubly confusing!!!

Hi Woopert, hope you're enjoying your weekend not having to investigate and repudiate Fake Facts by the Terrible Trio!
But no, Woopert, we are DEFFO NOT "all ultimately on the same side" here!!! You have 2 distinct 'sides' on all Shares on lse - the genuine 'long' INVESTORS and the disingenuous, dishonest, deceitful, underhand, duplicitous, double-dealing, two-faced, insincere, false, lying, mendacious, scheming SHORTERS, DAY TRADERS, TROLLS & DERAMPERS who spread FAKE NEWS & FAKE FACTS to try to drive the Share Price DOWN. Of course, the DAY TRADERS may temporarily try to drive the Share Price UP, as soon as they've Bought in cheaply but they'll soon be OUT of their position and trying to drive the Share Price DOWN again so they can Buy in cheaply again - and so on.

Talk about Confusion! Take a look at this:
https://sec.report/nsm/Petrofac-L-T-D/Portal/NI-000035732/NI-000035732.pdf
On Page 216 of the PFC Open Offer Prospectus it states: "Ex-Entitlement Date 26 October 2021"!!!
Certainly makes you want to complain about this whole sorry confused state of affairs to the FCA!
I had £5k in my ISA to invest, for which I could have used to Buy PFC Shares on 26 October 2021 @ 122p. I appreciate that it wouldn't have made much difference, Paddyboy1 but still...
PS. kenj, where were the RNSs altered?
Barcap, L2analyst, ShearClass, you're such a trio of******! I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if you are actually all the same person, er, I mean Troll & Deramper!
You publish Fake Facts & News about AWE - and think you can blindside Woopert - but alas, Woopert has the time and wherewithal to check out your fictitious statements no matter how detailed and complicated you make it! Well done, Woopert! You must have the patience of a Saint, Woopert - maybe you are a Saint considering you tolerate these obvious Derampers & Trolls. I take my hat off to you. But beware you have made friends with scoundrels whose only aim is to drive the SP down either because they're Shorters or want to Buy this on the cheap - at your (maybe) & other genuine 'long' Shareholders expense and loss.
Barcap, L2analyst & ShearClass, you are all so transparent - now b*gger off and annoy some other website.
Oh, and you're more reliable than all these Brokers and other experts, of course, MaryBr190! Can you get your head through the door still? Fancy ****ging off Goldman Sachs, ha! You're a joker!
r7632, if you're not happy with the initial advice you're getting or got from your Broker then raise a formal Complaint.
MaryBr190 swears by Hargreaves Lansdown but I can't count the number of times that HL has given me duff advice and I've had to recheck and recheck it. But that's still better than taking advice from anonymous nobodies on here, who you haven't got a hope in knowing their true background and credentials.
