Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
I'd hope for roughly double $7m - £10m for half of Zulu is doable, pennies to the Chinese and would shore up the foundations and take this minnow onto the next level wherein a much larger raise is needed perhaps a year on with value added reflected in share price Be a nasty b@stard at the deal table for once George!
If RHA had got correct tungsten concentrates the company would have done no placement last year There is still no clear explanation why this failed No one does placement just for sakes of it - the money to my mind has been spent well, it just needs a delivery partner which now seems close. Not one aim company runs for the convenience of the private investor so why should prem be any different
I suspect this is the bottom as 3.13p ad infinitum was when I first got into this share 16mths later 7p ish then onto the higher level last year - I expect the same cycle for whatever it's worth For newbies buy on that basis and u may be pleasantly surprised but remember this is a Giles Clarke vehicle and he is riff raff on his own agenda so beware even considering this is a hole in the ground in Africa the GC factor to me is the major issue here.
The 40% figure is a purchaser's lower tantalite purity parameter. KZG is shipping "grades of over 40% purity" It is very hard to get this mineral pure due to the similar phys props of tin and tungsten contaminants, far easier to purify it once treated chemically at the next stage. There is a great difference between KZG telling the market it's shipments are over 40% purity tantalite and interpreting this simplistically as 10% less purity than previous shipments. This is a very high grade resource and Clearly output is the next focus no drop in purity is implied at all and these grades are brilliant at scale. I think 60% is exceptional without strenuous purification which is unscalable ... I think the fact LJ has begun communicating this sort of info is incredibly encouraging, it shows he listens - please keep giving updates LJ lots of people are well down on this share so it helps keep faith
I was one of many unfortunates who bought big on the spike last year, then again at 7p after the placing largely on basis of Giles Clarke's stretching of the actualite. I am posting as I remain confident of the future here and cannot help but like LJ despite his abysmal communications record. It is clearly not an easy job he has but this does not mean he is not accountable either - obviously a quiet man, a good counter to GC in the long term. I only wanted to post really as I can see indications of no newsflow for several months, in fact the last RNS indicates early next year. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I also wanted to advise new investors - perhaps buy small and often rather than taking a plunge as I think the shareprice will drift off even this level. The culture of Tantalum is clear from the interview and from the last year of (nearly zero) news plus placings, there wont be any trumpeting of achievements until absolutely essential so this share should ultimately zoom on the big news. I am not unbiased and im in a hole with KZG so will hold on basis of a need to profit, being a LTH and a balanced faith in the venture. To my mind as I stated before LJ picked up a lot of fluff from GC and has hardened it to something commercially very viable, I will never ever invest in a Giles Clarke company again though, to me the man is not trustworthy to control investors' monies, if LJ wasnt in control I would take the hit and leave as it is I will risk what is left. I hope this doesn't offend anyone (except GC !!) Also thanks to Mac, very helpful :)
very kind of you mac - thank you - I will repost and GL luck with your investment too!

RBR (and GC LJ if they care) so many people myself included are so in a hole with this share that the difference between 3 and 4p makes no odds so what your point is I don’t know If you mean High value mine asset coming (we hope) but very poorly communicated by management who need to buck up their ideas I tend to agree
And my post wasn’t intended to be rude to you mac, just writing fast. You also post good stuff - thanks. GLA as you say, I agree with your view of KENV, I just hope we can get more at this low price before takeoff is announced
I was not criticising his enthusiasm for lithium I was saying it has limitations. Just as my posts do and everyone else’s I did say I like RH69 for his research and sharing of it - generous and was actually defending him from accusations of ramping by the other poster I know fully what EMH is about I just quoted facts about the thresholds that are required now there are many in on Li prospects - they are exceptionally high
RH tends to be enthusiastic - super enthusiastic about lithium to the point he gets bit hypo - see for eg his posts on the EMH board where I expect he made many investors a lot of money with informed enthusiastic opinion and also lost a few people money by failing to note that the benchmark on lithium mines is very high. EMH tanked on a plan with IRR 21.9% against a required 25% if I remember rightly The share is stuck around half it’s level now To be fair he is not giving investment advice this is a blog board it’s just each of us may have a differing definition of the words ramping and opinion I like RH69, mainly cos his research is good if he could calm down on the lithium front he would be perfect. For now one just has to treat his posts with a pinch of sodium chloride just as with every post here !
When I say borrowing money I mean I am invested and he is using my money - not that he has borrowed money personally!
I put money here on basis of mr Johnson - the directors covenant though still applies to him and his communication record has been poor. My losses aside It is clear GC fed the market a line and LJ has had to lower expectations which I am sympathetic to, but why won’t he/they issue any production details after painting such a fantastic picture. I do not know LJ, he is not my friend - he is borrowing money from me to fund his company, he therefore has support but there is a corollary - he needs to be straightforward too. I have this as a hold on basis that I think it’s at the bottom but who can say - this is potentially a great company but then how many of those on AIM are there which are self defeated by mutedness or ramping - in the space of a year this company has gone from one to the other
This is a great find FM and I really like the second point you made GMCC, about the continuation, its a really neat trial - gold standard to avoid the FDA - SRPT saga. Maybe will get a hint of results if RNS detailing movement to one formulation in due time. Thanks both of you
