Let's hope so. I would like everyone to make a profit out of this. I keep hearing that there will be one more dip in bitcoin to around 28k before it moons however so I think there may be more turbulence in the short term.

There's always one trader who feels the need to brag about their day's work. I am stupid for not selling at £1.61 myself however. It was clear this would go back down when the traders offloaded for the next drop.

Fair point. I would love it if we could stay above 100p, but there isn't any news driving this increase so it seems a bit odd. Although it does look like there may be a big buyer, so some of these shares may be moving into stronger hands - meaning a dip back to 88p is less likely.

Forgive me for my skeptical, but didn't we reach the bottom a few weeks back, shoot up to 106p before falling back down to 88p? I remember buying that very peak. I hope we can continue this momentum, but, but we've been here before.

What's with the rise today? Is this just going to bounce around between 88 and 100 until news?

I don't get why this share is so out of favour. I thought we were expecting some news in June.

Good luck @Monkeydluffy. A positive RNS could land at any time and cause this price to jump quickly and then you'll be paying more.

@Moog You're half correct. I put in more than I should have as I thought it was a certainty to come good - but not over a few weeks. My timeframe was the end of the year as I expected a bitcoin bear period after 2021 as happened after 2017's run. The plummet in April and May to the current depths spooked me so I took some out. As for buying at over £2 - buying on a spike is never good financial dealing. Clearly should have waited for the correction we've been through.

I think we've seen the bottom now and it won't be going back to £1 unless bitcoin collapses. I've got enough shares that I can make back all losses when we hit around 290p and I'm happy holding the number I have. Much more relaxed about my investment now - that doesn't mean I'm not going to chip in with my opinions on important events - whether I'm right or wrong.

@.zstarz: I'm a short seller now? God I wish, my portfolio would be in the green by now if I shorted everything I bought instead of buying it. Only thing I'm guilty of is choosing bad entry points - like buying ARB at 200 and then 235.

I've hodled what I'm comfortable with for a volatile share like ARB, and sold what I was uncomfortable holding for losses to protect capital. Still heavily underwater but expecting to be in profit if bitcoin goes on a run.

I don't think what I posted this morning warranted you spending two hours digging through my post history and coming up with a torrent of abuse. It is a fact that some people see negativity in an RNS and sell their shares. I've seen it before. Fortunately I was wrong, which I accept.

I apologise if I hurt your feelings because I didn't post about rockets and moon shots. Unfortunately for you this is a public board so you can't expect an echo chamber. People are going to have different opinions. It's a nice sunny day - get yourself a balance bike and play on the street.

People are going to see the delay and sell unfortunately.

The fact none of the bitcoin we mine is being sold is evidence that he is gambling on BTC going up. He could have sold the coins at almost twice their current value in April. Now if you think holding them is good because bitcoin will be even higher in the future then buying more is hardly a gamble either.

@No1atLosing Despite being somewhat right (it actually dropped to 92 by the end of the day) it took me by surprise how quickly it got there.

The reason I said 93 is that there is good support at this level, and I figure it will bounce back from here. Let's hope I'm right on the bounce, I don't want to think about where it might go if it falls through this support level.

I did the same, pound cost averaging on the way up but as I got more confident in the share my bigger topups were on the upper end. Was left with a 49 average after the RNS but I've managed to bring it down to 47 since then. The longer it hangs around this level the more opportunity to accumulate at a good price and bring my average down. Hoping for another top up on pay day in a few weeks time. One thing I am sure of however is no matter what our average is today it will look like a great price at the end of the year.

Theregulator1 is the kind of troll who would be posting "waiting for 10p" if it somehow did reach 20p.

The only people who will "cut their losses" here will either be people who don't have a clue what they invested in or people who need the money out their shares account as soon as possible.

I can't explain the dip. If I was confident in my 93 prediction I would have sold my shares and bought back lower.

My suspicion is that people are getting bored that the share price isn't moving upwards as quickly as they'd hoped, so are moving money to shares they think will move upwards quicker. People investing in AIM companies have no patience and want quick gains.
