It has to be something more than people don’t trust AM. I would think the wider market doesn’t even know who AM is. The billion barrel discovery made mainstream news…and yet nothing, in fact the SP has dropped. Is it manipulation? What’s stopping other funds wanting a slice at 15p? I doubt a NT would scare them off, it’s baffling to say the least.

I’d start with Ryan and Anavio. CFO best placed to see the ins and outs. Hasn’t bought a share, why is that? Is it because he already has a sack full via other vehicles?

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned Bidens “no more drilling” comments. Whoever the JV is, we need to get a move on before they start bringing punitive taxes.

The current economic and geological state mean there’s no better time than NOW to get this oil out of the ground.

I agree on Devilbhoy, he’s called some things right with a very dry sense of humour to put it politely but it’s apparent he’s become that disheartened, he may as well just switch off until the company is seen in a better light.

He’s simply bought back in so stays quiet, he will be back to talk the share down at 16p to try and get his 5%. Just enjoy the quiet until then.

One was quoting 16%, clearly not giving much credence to the 38 million p2 reserves, thankfully a bank will.

38 million barrels is great collateral for any bank, offsets their risk massively as can easily sell that asset off and recoup their loan easily. (And more)

All eyes will be on how much cash is in the bank. I’m hopeful the $600k pending well costs can be covered.

It’s catch 22, the reason for caution is the fact that the people see 15p too good to be true. The deep pocketed investors look like they’re not prepared to come in until the JV is confirmed, hopefully soon.

Would they be able to buy the necessary shares to gain control though without impacting the current SP? I highly doubt it.

That 16% interest rate on the RBL is an interesting figure, any foundation to that?

The markets moved on from the summer when Art was quoted as saying he had hoped for an RBL interest rate of between 7%-8%, however if the rates on offer only allow us to borrow in the teens, the more reason to step back from RBL and lean on the JV on much more favourable terms.

We have Art, Ryan and Nigel at the helm, you would think they had the foresight to put contingencies in for the market volatility.

Just watched this in another board re:Reabold. Does pose the question of how much influence our cornerstone investors have on COPL, my hope is that these bonds are paid off asap.
