George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Size82 - I think the questions you raise are very reasonable given the approaching anniversary we don't even like to think of. My point to add is that, I can only assume that TFG must be asking / have already asked these very same questions. Volume aside, they are just investors as we are (albeit they will, no doubt, command more attention for the size of their stake). Whilst we acknowledge that SNG do not routinely RNS unless a major update or otherwise obliged (TR1, etc), given the passage of time with that approaching anniversary and (my assumption as to) TFG being kept in the loop, at what stage are PI's likely to get some updating of where 'we' are going, would appear to be burning question.
TP - ... very much with you on that and the use of the filter ... could make for a much-improved BB experience for all. It's been a really good start early in the new year for the info shared and for the increasing potential for SNG. Ducks seem to be present with more arriving ... just need them in a line.
Some great considerations on this topic yesterday and today and a good forum start to 2023. These complexities raised may actually tie in with what we have seen in what will be nearly be a year since Feb 21. The pooling of every scrap of SNG data, the widening of the rhetoric to include the wider family of viruses, the may arrows in air comment, the A2P3 comment as to re-thinking what should happen next and what it should look like, the inexorable rise of scientific reporting of INF's importance, the groundswell of opinion towards new trials, the lean period of news and more recently SNG's PR exercise of reaching out and attracting some top level talking heads. This latter aspect is hopefully indicative of the former work being the scenes (which we only hoped was actually going on) has been completed to the point of SNG being ready for whatever plan (which may include plan A,B, C, etc ) the BoD are aiming for. I think we are still in the PR phase but do hope it's in the final stages or narrowing down the options / plans towards the execution (I use the word cautiously) phase. Certainly the recent comments below do seem to have within the texts, a well-worded letter to SNG (Brooke) as to identifying if we will require to aim for one target or is there any chance for a multi-targeted approach to a P3 trial.
... is probably the position most on here will be adopting and rightly so. Whilst optimistic, there's every likelihood that whatever road we take, it will not be a short one. As many have said, it does seen clear that 2023 has to be the year if something deserving of SNG001 is to come good. If so, the wait for the reward will be easier to bear. So, given we are only 4 days in, it's a (cautiously) pleasing start to the year thus far and lets hope that continues towards some real news we can hang our SNG hats (and hopes) on.
Echoing the previous good wishes to all, health and happiness first followed closely by a resurgent SNG.
To fellow LTH's, it's been a long and nerve-challenging wait, made all the longer when the Covid 'fire' came over the hill but SNG never quite got the chance it needed to put the fire out. As the BoD fan the embers and circle the SNG Fire Engines lets hope 2023 brings the necessary alignment of the numerous moving parts to give SNG001 the chance it richly deserves.
"All clinical & nonclinical data should be released to the public awa all data on virus mutations detected in people treated with this drug. Would be very insightful for future consideration."

From time to time a great deal is said by a great number of posters about the need not respect the posts of others even if not in agreement with the content, whether there posts are long or short, detailed or otherwise, and .... given the ability of all to filter if they prefer not to see what some say, I doubt anyone can argue with that as both reasonable and logical. Yet, we seem to have an attack (even may say 'pack') mentality to some new snippet that is offered. This BB seems to exist mostly with an infighting within the pack so when a visitor (re-)appears it is time to circle the wagons. FWIW I have personally been sorry (although, given the above, not surprised) that a few of the former stalwarts on here have withdrawn to become only distant or occasional observers. The desire is not just for information but it becomes a veritable feeding frenzy and if more is not forthcoming then ridicule follows. Fair to say that, excepting anyone coming on board post 21 Feb, all have been badly affected this year and so patience and nerves have been tested, but in that we should be united, all wishing for the same result ... irrespective of how we may think it should or will happen. Having dealt with angry people of my working life I doubt that the vast majority of what is said on here would ever be said face-to-face. We are mostly all strangers on here but that should not take away some personal responsibility for basic civility. Yes, it is probably a time of year thing, but IMHO we all need to occasionally recalibrate. Maybe improve your BP with the filter option. New Year resolution anyone ?
Beta Interferon (IFNß) Synairgen – SNG001
SARS
Nebulized form in human studies; phase 2; IFNß-1b (but not 1a) active i.v.; some combo studies suggest efficacy; small observational study of n=21 suggested improvement when used with SoC (which included HCQ and lop/rit) and, of course, using IFNß-1a; press release by Synairgen for IFNß-1a (NCT04385095) DBRCT suggested reduced vent use, lower mortality but very small study with more diabetes in placebo arm, incomplete enrolment (100 of 220); in DBPC RCT in UK, n=101 (50 on drug, 51 placebo), 67% requiring O2, improved odds of clinical improvement (OSCI), however no difference in odds of intubation or death; ACTIV-2 study of non- hospitalized patients investigates SNG-001

That will be interesting to see what comes out, and also what RB tweet's as he is currently posting a lot about mask wearing too.
One other thought ref home-treatment was the several references during last week's event in DC, to the benefits of patients with early covid signs not going to hospital, and being treatable in the home. This (like everything that was brought up) would appear to have been well planned and thought out in advance, so it was something that SNG wanted to talk about - there must still be some significance that they are attaching to this. No bridges being burnt yet I would guess.
Liking the cautious optimism that some are sharing around the hope we are still in the running and that the darts/arrows etc have landed and now its about picking the best offer to meet the company's comments that may suggest they have (and still are) setting out their stall for the potential bidders in terms of PT organisers and BG's. If so, this situation would perfectly explain the otherwise frustrating silence.
