Post Wicks's most recent buy and the company's share-buy back program, the SP continues falling. Takeover hopes now diminished with Brexit uncertainty. Most dynamic management person has left. Whatever next?

Been accumulating these but after today's announcement its time to commit large funds which I will do this morning as big bucks will be made on this over the coming year

A big shame that he will no longer be offering his comments due to the likes of the persons mentioned who offer nothing here except false statements. Its rare that someone with his insight and large shareholding appears on such boards. No doubt he'll return once good news arrives and the fraudsters have moved onto other boards.

I'm actually not a great one for picking the right stocks as I've had some disasters over the years. I generally only put in £2k-£3k as fun bets as I view them. My SOLG £2k cashed out at over £60k but much smaller gains/losses apart from that one. I'm an accountant but have a large buy-to-let stock of properties of circa. £150 million and auction buys offer some fun also. I donate a fair amount to my favourite charities. I'm married with two sons and live an unlavish lifestyle but one which suits my needs. There you have it.

thanks Such. I guess I'll hang onto my shares until the next effort is concluded but its heads or tails on the outcome. Only a modest investment at risk here fortunately. Didn't someone here suggest a 10% possibility of a bad RNS so it shows you how much that person's view is worth.

Anyone know if they will use better technology to test whether the hard rock encountered in the last hole will be side-stepped in attempt number 2 as this surely is the key to avoid another SP disaster. A 100% rise from the low is needed merely to get back to what the SP was last Wednesday and this will take some doing. I don't want to lose what's left in here but one needs to re-assess frequently with such a speculative venture.

He was the dynamic force within this company and he shouldn't have been allowed to depart. The reasons for him leaving, well, maybe if these were made public then investors would know the real set-up here.

Disappointed investors should depart and look elsewhere if its a near term uplift they want as this is a long story unfolding. Back into the 80's probably but no permanent harm done by today's update

I guess most holders here are under water somewhat. I had a holding in one company which was down in the dumps like this one for a long time then it went to x30 when I sold and my modest £2k became a significant amount to me at least. It later went to x40 but hey ho. KOD has the same feeling and its in the same drilling mode as the other company. Good luck all.

Top ups on a rising SP is an interesting activity. Obviously It increases the running average cost and any pull back compounds the paper loss. My tactic is to trade all AIM top-ups rises of between 10-25% and leave my initial purchase to run and see where it goes. Then, if it all goes down the tube as with many AIM shares, the loss is mitigated to a fair degree.

Today it has GWMO as the featured company. A few sentences covering what is already known plus yesterday's RNS.
The year's graph shows the dramatic decline in the SP from 1.8 to 1.22 which could appear as a great time to invest now for newbies so this should show a 10-15% rise on first thing on Monday in my experience.

the BIGGER THE BOUNCE! The next RNS, if positive, should move the SP too quickly skywards for the doom-mongers to grasp the nettle and buy-in whilst the patient people who are already bedded in here will reap rich pickings. Tomorrow could be very interesting indeed.

Not sure the previous SP levels are a true target as since then there have been massive share conversions?

The anticipation and excitement of the waiting game here will surely lead to the upwards climb continuing for who knows how long.When the flow rate RNS hits the screen its 100% up or 50% down depending...…….A good punt share for the time being in my opinion

Would I be right in assuming the directors hold rather less shares than Mr Webley?
If correct, isn't this very peculiar?
I find it hard to fathom where £1m of speculative funds might have originated from to then put it all at great risk where the directors are holding back.
I hope for Mr Webley's sake the SP holds up otherwise there could be some explaining to be done to Mrs Webley.
Its a fair chance though that Mr Webley has a lot of financial clout even disregarding the investement here which make's me think it strange to dabble in GWMO in the first place. One person or family only needs so much money after all?

Further strengthening of the balance sheet at practically no discount to current SP. What's there not to like. Good management a la G Southgate....

And here was me only yesterday congratulating myself on nipping in and out of UKOG taking a chunk of money when another placing was announced 4.15pm then today been caught by GWMO doing their own placing at 1.30.
Win one and lose one and back to 1.4 ish is now expected although the 'excitement' over some findings in the ground might stabilize the drop.

Get asjwebley onto the BOD as his insight into the company seems possibly the equal of, if not more than, the present incumbents. If so, could he push for the newsflow to be issued more regularly as actions and not investor speculation is what we all desire?
