The last few months of RNSs have already confirmed that we have at least 3 major investors selling heavily ! One who owned 12% of the stock!! Yes I know we have had some institutional buyers also but RNS and “price action” confirms that we have some conviction sellers ! Hence why we are at all time lows ! More sellers than buyers ! Market dynamics ! When someone buys heavily the share price tends to go up ! I’ve seen this with one or two oilies I’ve owned in the past who have been taken over ( Caracal Energy, Coastal Energy, Heritage Oil, Emerald Energy, Burren Energy, Dragon Oil and Dana Petroleum to name a few)! To summarise: current price action indicates someone selling not someone buying PS: don’t counter with “manipulation” bull caca please

Not so! There are many ways without necessary a hostile takeover ! A company could approach the board and reach agreement at a significant premium to the share price . There could also be a merger of equals at a small increase / premium with the agreement of the OPHR board Also if there was hostile takeover, by the time the acquirer purchases enough shares to make an offer the price would rise significantly

DOcisacoc Yea you’re probably right! There’s probably nothing to worry about! Civil unrest is not a common thing in in Colombia or South America in general! It’s not like the company has suffered months of delays due to issues with local population in 2014-2016... I recon we should just ignore Eldorado and any local knowledge that he may or may not have. So what if he speaks Spanish, knows Colombia and reads a lot of local Colombian press! Eldorado You seem to know your stuff when it come to Colombia... I assume you’re from that part of the world... So can you clarify why these indigenous communities are more difficult than in communities in other countries ? Remember oil companies have successfully drilled wells in places like Somalia , Yemen, Nigeria, Russia etc etc so why is navigating these communities more difficult to navigate???

Selling some other stocks (KWS and ACSO) to buy more sub 78p!!! With a medium term view, future dividends alone will cover my purchase price ! Remember when the oil price was in the 90-110 range, they were giving 40p and 20p dividends!!

Unfortunately I’m tempted to agree Margret365! A lot of my solid oil stocks have suffered significant falls recently due to the drop in oil price ... If solid companies can fall , there’s no reason for AMER to tread water .. Single figures is now likely!

Be careful you’ll soon reach the 30% threshold and will legally have to buy the entire issued share capital of this little gem! After being here for a few years I’ve decided to sell 75% of my holding ! The drop has been relentless on both this and ACSO over the past few weeks and shows no signs of stopping! I wish I sold at 1800p but better late than never ! I’ll completely liquidate at £10... Good luck to anyone who is still fully invested

Zebbo You’re not late at all I bought a while back and have continued to average up here (including today).. Management clearly think this is undervalued. If we don’t close the valuation gap, they are prepared to act! Early days here . Still an undervalued undiscovered gem

Thanks Mikey So this amendment could be quite positive for GKP then ? You say KRG owe GKP money but if GKP are getting extra oil (from 58 to 80%) surely that would cover it? Also correct me if I’m wrong but GKP refinanced the Debt In July 2018 and replaced it with a $100 million Notes with five-year maturity and 10% interest rate. So I make that 2023....

Hi guys Just doing some research on this in a cold Saturday afternoon and wanted to clarify somethings. Second amendment: GKP are currently entitled to 80% of Shaikan oil but after the second PSC amendment they will be entitled to approximately 58%? This amendment is expected to be implemented shortly? Current Price to Earnings ratio is around 15ish? Current development plans involve increasing production at Shaikan to 55000 BOPD towards the end of next year and GKP will be entitled to 58% of that ? They currently have approximately over $200 million cash ? What’s the debt position??? I know they restructured 100 million of debt this summer ? Any confirmation and clarification re the above will be appreciated
