Thanks, I am pretty sure the RNS states they are independent directors, if correct this means they are on the board, but do not have a material or pecuniary relationship with company or related persons, except sitting fees.
To me it says the new recruits are akin to consultants, so paid for their services when needed and they are not on the payroll. Significant because it means there is no long term commitment on either side.
Red if you enjoy Viz (I agree it is not what it was- or is that because I am getting older?) you may enjoy Bob Mortimer's Athletico Mince podcast, it is loosely based around football but with hammed up actual and fictitious characters. Some of it is absolutely hilarious.
Schlemiel, sorry to hear your experience . Try to let it go, it will only make you bitter. I've lost a couple of my closest relations to cancer in the last couple of years and it has opened my eyes to the true value of health, living each day to the full and having a laugh (sometimes at yourself). I used to roll my eyes when I heard that sort of advice when I was a youngster. It's a cliche, but if you've got your health go out side an d punch the air.
