earache - it doesn't matter. if you're invested for longer term like most of us then after yesterday's presentation we can be more confident than ever that our investment will be worth 2x, 3x or more current levels in a few months time. If it goes up and down a bit in between and some brave people can take advantage of that then good luck to them. Personally I haven't got the time, energy, skill, bravery to do that, so I'll go with the flow and just enjoy the excitement as it unfolds - and there's going to be a lot of it - without trying to second guess it all the time.
could be a big week at ORPH. CF keeping us on tenterhooks ... total silence from the company, no leaks, no little quips / quotes etc etc = highly unusual and indication to me of the seriousness of the work being progressed. Hoping much will be revealed tomorrow - before or even at CF's shareholder meeting in the evening (can be RNS'd before opening the next day). GLA
what doesn't look good? the company, the exchange, CF involvement? why do you think you know better than CF, why are you bovvered, and why raising it on here?
current true price ...
... for small quantities ...
HL currently showing 35/36.5 (same as LSE above), but just tested it with dummy sell / buy and real prices are 36/36.2
Strictly - that is a ridiculous comment. Learn from his past effort, commitment, effectiveness and success. We all know that he is working through an extremely complex reshaping of ORPH, with multiple moving parts, each I suspect requiring a different approach. As suggested by padrock, he may well be trying to do it all in 1 go, which I doubt any of us expected or thought possible. But even if not, it is tricky and I think most if us remain convinced he is determined to do it as well as possible for maximum benefit to shareholders. It may seem quiet but that is because CF has been so generous with his time and transparency with shareholders in the past. To me the comparative quiet means big things are being progressed. He's committed to tell us investors more next week if we haven't already heard more by then.
Padrock - now that is a very good post. Thank you for taking the time and trouble to think through and pull together.
Nice little bit on here today about ORPH at 15:10 (interviewer is annoying though ... apols if already posted)

Give it up padrock. There's no point applying yet more of your own suppositions to your own guesses and assumptions. They'll tell us soon.
Unlike others I did contact Investor Relations to say there were some misunderstandings and concerns being aired and got this response within 1 day:
"I don’t believe there is any reasonable cause for alarm should a clean vehicle like Poolbeg Pharma Ltd be used to assist with the eventual spin-out of assets from the parent company. This would be a mechanism for the Directors to establish a vehicle for the assets to be spun out to and they would then work to enable these assets to be spun-out and the eventual entity to become a listed company.
Any current holding / ownership of the existing entity would be heavily diluted when the shareholders of the spin-out assets (so that would be all ORPH shareholders under the plans for a distribution in specie) are included within the enlarged entity, and similarly further diluted by securing separate financial resources for these assets the “Fundraising for NewCo” as described in the recent Circular and which was part of the rationale behind the proposed spin-out.
The Directors are not being “lined up to take ownership” of the assets, but they will be working very hard to put everything together so that ORPH shareholders will be shareholders in a new listed entity, with the assets and potentially separate funding to secure a pathway forward to develop those assets and reach commercial milestones."
Hope that helps. GLA true LTHs
Don't forget biggest loser from slip in sp is CF himself, so I'm sure he'll have strong plans to remedy the situation. Would love to see a special cash dividend based on pre-announcement shareholding .. I think we'll start hearing things soon.
wouldn't mind a little leak just to spice things up ...
daily shaving of the sp over last few weeks while we've had comparative radio silence has been a bit annoying. Hoping that CF is planning carefully orchestrated newsflow in near future. We're expecting lots on numerous fronts, but personally don't want it all in 1 go. Keep each bit of good news / progress separate and allow each to be absorbed, understood, communicated widely and for it to have positive impact on sp before releasing next ... etc etc. Well that's what I'd do anyway, but what do I know! GLA
PadRock- I think you're mistaken. They are the directors and have control - someone has to when it leaves ORPH. They arent the owners.
for deals in the immunotherapy treatment arena. just seen this lunchtime today. Bodes well for AVCT's pre|CISION and TMAC work ...

ktrb - many thanks. hoping that announcement will come with more detail about all the work that's been going on in the background (of which there appears to have been a huge amount). Also hoping it might fix date(s) for ORPH share ownership to qualify for divs in specie, allocations in new co's etc etc ... which I hope will be soon!
That's quite a coup getting him on the Board. He hasn't joined to faff around ... Very exciting times.
Nice ... he's good isn't he ...
