Si - ODX have won the contract, but it's a maximum, and no guarantees re call-offs. ODX can't produce any yet as they don't have a supplier of LFT test, though many think that's likely to be AVCT. All good for UK diagnostics industry.
Great RNS. Fantastic news. Well done all for holding on. Now here we go!
Congrats MC and team, I'd say this deal is quite a coup - if we could have imagined the ideal scenario re plant it could not be much better than this.
139 days, so the game will kick off some time in October!
Si - thats a good b&I deal. Who are you with?
(Note once it's in an Isa it can grow to whatever you like tax free, no need for transfers or anything. It's only the contributions which are limited in any 1 year.)
slopjockey making every effort to try and talk the sp down. hmm, wonder why ...
wallyj - can I add my thanks to all the others for your excellent notes from yesterday evening. wow! it seems to get better and better. there's so much going on in ORPH, its like owning shares in several companies, all going full-steam ahead. lots of big numbers and international interest / involvement being mentioned. wishing I had sold everything else and put it all in here ... I suppose I still could ... maybe I will ... GLA
Energyshares - thanks, great stuff. THAT is going to be a very interesting interview ... very much looking forward to it
T123 - 'whats in Panama?' - a man, a plan, a canal, Panama..... well let's at least hope there's a plan ... !
same here. looks to me like it's consolidated well, tested day close at around 21.5 2 or 3 times recently, so I reckon on the way back up. have added this morning. GLA
NS - you're a trader, and a very successful one at that by the sounds of things - congratulations. But many on here are investors in CNR (myself included) and take a longer term view. Perhaps we don't have the time or expertise that you clearly have to study the market, trends, entry/exit points etc etc. But each of us has our own reasons for our own approach. So would you mind just giving us investors a little more respect and stop telling us why we're wrong. Thanks in advance. wg
CF is one of the best CEOs when it comes to communicating with investors on a regular basis and answering our questions. There are many on AIM who don't talk to investors from 1 year to the next and people on here would certainly start to complain if he stopped. He is also one of the best in conveying his own personal excitement in the prospects for the business. Swapleber's thread may have been started just for a larf, but I don't think its respectful of the time, effort and energy which CF puts into his presentations, or their purpose. It's a cheap shot and just sets up a position from which those who want to can criticise what is said with the best of intentions. Unhelpful IMHO.
cambells - thanks for sharing the interview. everything sounds very positive on the ground despite what sp may be doing short term. great top-up opportunity for lucky peeps with spare cash. IMHO sp will be multiples of current level by end of this year (if we haven't been bought by then). GLA
SR84 - naive I'm afraid. not for profit just means they don't pay surplus out to investors et al. Doesn't mean they don't generate surplus - they need to to sustain the business. They will pay the going rate for anything / everything to run and develop their business. That includes using the best data management and statistics services for their studies i.e. ORPH
These look like really good initial results to me. I doubt MC or anyone else could have hoped for anything better. It takes a lot for uber-conservative MC to use the word "delighted"! If he is, then so am I! GLA
I guess people are assuming that there must be a reason why raglan have invested. and the other 2 sizeable investors too. all together, at this point in time? or just coincidence? raglan in particular will have had the wherewithal (and requirement) to carry out due diligence - won't have just done it as a punt? or would they?
indiscipline - thanks, I agree with that. These are all big deals and we don't want any done quickly at the expense of being done properly, for max shareholder benefit. In the 9/2 presentation he said aiming to update with news on at least 1 of the opportunities in 4-6 weeks. Don't expect more than that, or you may be disappointed. But it will be great to hear about progress which may well give sp a positive jolt!
Bronx - don't think so ... Spudnik is a manufacturer of potato equipment in the United States
interesting. any idea when that suddenly became available i.e. registered and searchable even if not live ... yet
NS - yeah. me too. (actually I put loadsamunny into another company last week which has absolutely rocketed since I invested.) great being clever and rich isn't it ... not like all these other losers ... you and me should stick together ...
good find, thanks
