Hi Kenny, I haven't been on this board for a while so I hope all is well with you.

I have been taking up my floorboards searching for treasure without any luck. Then I had a lightbulb moment/flash of inspiration and remembered I had a few Apollon shares. As one of the longest running posters I know for both Afriag and Apollon I wonder if you would mind providing me with your opinion as to where Apollon is going/heading after its delisting. Is there any tangible value in the company?

On another note Afriag use to have a 40% owned freight subsiduary which I believe they sold our business to prior to investing in Apollon. Have you ever seen any accounts or information for that business since they brought our freight business out? I haven't been able to find very much at all in that private company and I was interested in the level of profits/losses it was now recording.

Any help you could provide on the above would be appreciated.

Government has know about PHE for many years now even at Cabinet level. To say they will be 'on to it like a rash' would probably require a change in mindset by them. Frustrating I know!

Your post today 21:21 is spot on regarding feedstocks. I actually think there are a few other issues that also need some consideration and I question whether a 40T pd unit is actually the optimum size for first commercial plant. Originally it was touted that Hazardous Medical Waste had high gate/disposal fees. Profitability I believe was based on these gate fees rather than the production of hydrogen or electricity. Whilst there is a higher bar for transport and disposal of medical waste it shouldn't have been insurmountable.

The DMG should maybe have been sized at maybe 5T pd if economics allowed. At least you would have a working commercial DMG. Going to extremes in certain cases maybe a 0.2T pd machine would be ideal.

The direction that PHE has been taking over the last five years has flip flopped without producing any commercial DMGs. It has been a frustrating time for most of us.

Lets be clear, feedstock supply contracts do not need to be for the life of a DMG unit. Shorter contracts mean flexibility, both in the nature of the feedstock and also the supplier.

PHE could have launched as a market disrupter identifying niche areas where the normal waste recyclers were cut from the loop. An example may be the recycling of pill/tablet packaging containing plastic and foil also sharp boxes direct from GP surgeries. (This example is only to indicate potential, not necessarily what is economically viable.)

I still believe in the process, I try and believe that KR can put things to right.

I disagree. We already have the previous example of W2T, what has changed? This will only change on the news of an actual plant being constructed or a proper commercial contract with penalty clauses for non delivery.

You fill this board with your twaddle, whinging and sideswipes, I suppose from your posting history these are terms you regard as putting maximum effort into.

Asking Dr A to answer my questions along with other investors saves everyone's time except Dr A's who has been willing to give it. A single point of contact hopefully ensures that PHE directors have fewer distractions and can get on with the coal face issues.

Thank-you for your response. Personally I've been very happy with the outcome this week, it stops the Peel drift, has the ability to reduce the dilution of shares that was on the cards and the wriggle room BOD have regarding responsibility. I have been impressed with Keith so far, he has not just said the correct words he has followed them up with action.

In my opinion the share price and sentiment will not increase by its potential until all the skeletons have been emptied out the cupboard and us PI's have been fully informed of some of these basic issues/answers hence my questions. A realistic reset of expectations and timescales.

I'm sure that others may have a few questions as well but an open road map is what is needed now. I appreciate your help in pursuing these questions.

I hope you don't mind but I have a few questions that maybe I should already know the answers to but age has become a hinderance to brain cells where the answers may once have been stored.

1. What happened to the £1.25m grant which was to fund the purchase of the thermal conversion chamber? Was the
a) chamber ever purchased?
b) grant ever taken up?
c) grant still available (now to PHE)? (If so for how long?)
d) grant accepted but then had to be paid back?

2. I understood that the loan from PHE was to pre purchase limited stock materials. Did this occur and if so has the JV ever taken active control of those materials? If delivery has not occurred already, are they assigned at the suppliers site specifically to the JV so that the JV doesn't become an ordinary creditor if the business was to go into receivership?

3. How is PHE going to raise sufficient funds to build the first DMG? Do the BOD anticipate a placing to achieve this?

3. Is there any intention to dilute existing shareholders further?

4. Am I correct in assuming that it was Peel who would only originally engage in the now expired agreement on the basis that W2T and PHE had to merge?

5. Why did Peel not build the plant and why have they now opted out of the agreement?

Some straight answers from PHE's BOD would be very useful to me at least.

Good post but I am not as gloomy regarding your point 3:

a) They have already been working both within and around the mine and other potential sites.

b) 'Alba’s wholly owned subsidiary, GMOW (Gwynfynydd) Limited, has been awarded an exclusive mineral exploration licence (known as an “Option to Lease Mines Royal”) by The Crown Estate over a 20 km² area (the “Gwynfynydd Licence”) between the northern and southern segments of the Dolgellau Gold Belt which are already held by the Alba Group.

In common with all option agreements entered into by The Crown Estate, the Gwynfynydd Licence will run for a total of six years and is renewable by up to a further four years thereafter. '

The Crown Estates have a vested interest in this exploration/mining operation continuing.

3. I take the time length to determination as a positive, especially as NRW requested additional information.

It has always surprised me how questions either raised
1. In or about the PM's or a cabinet ministers constituency
2. A question raised at PM question time
3. A question raised by the main media companies

can concentrate minds. Briefing notes are sometimes requested. Whilst this in itself is unlikely to speed up the process, the mere request from this level of authority indicates that the subject is being keenly watched. A Government Agency, quango at the coal face of these types of requests may find it internally culturally difficult and an organisational desire to move from the limelight may exist........ I think you can fill in the rest.

If Liz Saville-Roberts MP, Dwyfor Meirionnydd, Plaid Cymru Westminster Leader is your MP, then maybe you could both ask her about her personal views on Clogau St. Davids reopening, as well as requesting her to ask the question in Parliament to the PM as to when the NRW will provide their decision and why they appear unable to comply with their own response timelines? I would expect the PM to refer back to the Welsh Assembly/Parliament.

Just trying to be helpful if you are finding it difficult to let the NRW take its time.

If you read the RNS's for the last six years you will be able to see the progress Alba has made. It has been de-risking a mining venture with a limited pot of cash.

This is not bureaucratic madness, it is a necessary process to protect and improve the environment we live in. Some may consider it extreme and maybe heavy handed regulation but whilst I am frustrated with the length of time it is taking, I recognise the importance to get it right so if it takes another week or month then so be it.

The fact that additional information was requested and the NRW are still liaising with Alba implies to me that at least at the time of the request the NRW was still open to the applications. If the application hadn't met the bar on other issues it would have been unreasonable to request additional data for a case already actually determined negatively. I believe that Alba is close to the tipping point for a successful outcome however only the Environment Officers involved will really have a view on this determination.

These are my own thoughts and not to be taken as investment advice.

I suspect that these applications by Alba are being treated very carefully by NRW due to the possibility of getting it wrong and the subsequent reputational damage that could result. The sensitivity of the area and the very issue that this is a gold mining project will force NRW to have a very high level of internal scrutiny. I really would not be surprised if it is an agenda item at BOD level due to the NRW organisational risks involved. It would also not surprise me if it had to pass through four or five organisational levels before the NRW BOD finalise and confirm to themselves that all ducks had been put in a row. Whilst this may appear a lot of administration layers, the complexities and care necessary for this type of determination are significant, the knowledge required will branch into various professional fields with value inputs from other discipline's within NRW.

Whatever decision NRW come back with, they are probably in for a good kicking because we have the greenies on one side and a prospecting company on the other.

Just my opinion.
