The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
"The SP will run out of steam if underlying business performance doesn’t improve."
Seems a little presumptive given January monthlies are 2 weeks away & promise to be impressive, given decent BTC rises & extra rigs partially contributing - think I'll wait & see before bailing myself + BTC looking reasonable atm.
Well a posting history for one + comparisons to our piers + the true value of the BTC rise which will be demonstrated in Jan acc's (released in Feb) + the effects of expansion on our BTC generation capabilites + the potential general growth in BTC going into the future.
Sentiment imo...which is controller to an extent by BTC.
All the other factors anchor towards the fundimentals & require a boosts from that department e.g. January Monthlies vs Warrants etc...
When the stars align & both are in the accendancy well I think you would rather be in than out again imo..
random1 how many goodbyes...are necessary before you stop posting garbage on this (or any other bb for that matter), of your posting history we must now be at approximately 30% Bye sign offs......
Views you call these views I call them brain farts & your 9 years off puberty vs retirement with your attitude. BYE.....
"Looks like this has the same rocket as EUA.....stuck on the ramp due to technical bs!" ARB
"No - didn't get spiked as i got in late last week, but still get annoyed with the total ramping on both shares ??" ARB
"Something stinks here. I have dropped £50k here in a week and I now have serious doubts about it. Easy for LTH who have already taken cash out to say "have faith". The rest of us are allowed to doubt." EUA
"It's dropped 6.5p in a week - that's a big drop already and no prospect of it going any other way at the moment. So why wouldn't it get shorted?" EUA - On a side note if you thought this do something about it I suggest, other than maon your bag off.
random1 your 7 post history spread over EUA/ARB smack's of moaning shiite, & adds nothing of value to either bb, grow a pair nothing happens on a daily basis (unless your a trader & to be successful at that doesn't appear to be in your skill set).
If we get our hands on these machines - someone else wont & that'll raise the cost to enter the space for the competition imo...Abit of debt for the next expansion tho Peter pls, us shareholders dont want to fund everything (Oh please let this be enough to get us to the promised land Nasdaq in the short/medium term)
When comparing the competitors on Blonty videos its quite obvious all the rest have big future expansions planned & this has had material effects on their SP, & even with our expansion in Feb we looked to be lagging in the arms race, with these upgrades we move into poll position, & have a first mover advantage over many of them (which will help improve early profit generation before they catch up & difficulty rates change).
On the whole I am happy & topped up.
Personnally I dont think they will take him to seriously until Nasdaq & as the MM's (+Bitcoin sideways) arnt playing ball atm id say it its a waiting game.
News on the Jan profits + machine installs (early Feb) maybe enough, otherwise Bitcoin has to top $40k consistently.
We carnt rely on the yanks either their MM's are playing as many games as ours (probably whilst someone accumulates at low values) also many of the outlets (Robinhood etc,,,) carnt get access to the share yet for whatever reason.
Unless BOD pull something out the bag i reckon this is it for 2 weeks. Entrenchment tools at the ready.
(I have banged on about Share Buy Back on a couple of threads now & to me its the answer to the Warrant pull backs (which the BOD have little control over), its all well & good using the cash to HODL more produced Bitcoin, but imo getting the $2 Nasdaq share entry momentum is far more important than the odd extra Bitcoin HODL at this stage - lets face it Bitcoin could go anywhere in the next 2 weeks, but a share buy back would demonstrate to the new Yank investors just what kind of a BOD is at the helm of ARB & their Nasdaq ambitions & may mess up MM accumulations for cheap ass big players trying to pin the SP down.
Half that would probably be enough to set a signal fire under the share price to push the final furlong.
All I know these MM's are having a laugh at the companies dreams of a Nasdaq listing & something ought to be done about it, before they milk the sentiment to death.
We know the BOD look at this bb on occasion - can we talk about this as a serious option.
I say we need to pump ARB to the Nasdaq asap, whilst Bitcoin & sentiment are behind us - we have all seen what an absence those things do to let this share wallow in the mud (whilst peers race on), so sumone tell me why this isnt a useful utilisation of our recent profits/warrant cash pool.
We dont appear to be going to do further re-investment (in the short term), we have no debts to pay off, the cash is likely temptingly sitting in the bank, just waiting for the directors to up their bonus's or something, whilst well deserved this is a critical moment for the company, if we get above $2 per share this piddly amount of cash in the bank may get a serious shot in the arm from the Nasdaq boost & we protect the company from a cheap hostile takeover at the same time.
So I say use the cash, for a one off share buy back to help breach this $2 critical milestone & then crack on to the Nasdaq & become a proper miner - then by all means directors reward yourselves for a job well done.
Just my opinion ofc...
Sadly I think the Yank MM's are playing us as much as our own.
For example during the hours when both exchanges are open we (& the yanks) get depressed SP, when we shut the Yanks go on a run, we open low (reduces sentiment) we pass on our low to the Yanks, they sell off on open rinse & repeat.
All the while bigger organisations build their stakes in after hours transactions.
So we do need the positives of rising Bitcoin price & the higher US competitors SP, to offset this shady MM practice.
TBH breaking into America for any business is never easy why should we be any different.
I do think it'll come its just gonna smaller increments at a time vs the made race we got used to last month.
Anything the BOD can do to break the stalemate & force the MM's hands to get to the $2 Nasdaq range faster will help tho imo - hence if the cash raised from the warrants + the cash generated from rising Bitcoin/Z isn't needed at present for expansion why not go for a limited share buy back (to force the MM's hand) boosting the speed to $2 & the resulting boon of Nasdaq can arrive (also protecting ARB from hostile takeover with increased SP).
