This strike won't help matters. The simple matter for me is that movies are on the decline, like you say super hero fatigue and a general lack of blockbuster quality. The majority of folk would rather watch Netflix at home. All the players are scaling around for a ever decreasing pot of money.

Tegop - The different with concerts is there is an insatiable demand for them. The same cannot be said for Cinema. Disney CEO was interviewed on CNBC earlier, he didn't have much to say about the movie and studio side of their business. It's all about milking their existing franchises for all the cash they can rather than doing something creative to revive them. There focus is on Disney+.

Jane - the lenders haven't been paid - that's why they are taking control of the company in recompense.

The only group better off from this whole mess is the legal firms.

I would argue that the inability to pay down debt was not temporary and first started as an issue when CW bought regal, an already indebted company, with more debt. It would have gone into C11 during COVID were it not for the priming facility that was put in place by the ad hoc group. So it was more of a realisation of the inevitable than a temporary situation that arose out of the blue.

You don’t seem to be able to wrap your head around the fact that they were not just shareholders but the executive leadership as well. Rightly or wrongly when executives leave they get paid off. When they are walking away from a deal that might have netted them hundreds of millions of dollars they get more.

I'm pretty sure buried under T212's terms you'll see that their shares are lent for shorting. So if the shares are lent out and sold there will be no voting rights attached to your holding because whoever bought them from the shorter will have your rights.

I hold both. I'm hoping this is resolved soon for the satisfaction of everyone but this involved having Neil Catto onboard and an exit plan for Bob with recognition of the excellent job he has done.

I think a lot of BOO hold RevB as well most likely as they are both beaten down growth stocks that fit the PI buying profile very well.
