I don't think you can quite call investing in BH value investing.

I think the problem lies in the over valuation during COVID and it's not completely clear what the current valuation of BH is until be see how the 'plan for growth' plays out.

It's not an undervalued gem though, it's a question mark.

Daytrade - one is clearly on an uptrend the other on a clear downtrend. I'm not talking Boohoo here but Online vs High Street. Plus the future generations will expect to buy everything on their phones and tablets on a same day or one day delivery, not be mooching round high streets unless they want a coffee or get their hair done.

Next and M&S are stores for middle aged upwards.

Whether she likes it or not give it another ten years and online will most likely be her only option. Unless she is happy buying all her clothes from Primark, TK Maxx and the supermarkets.

It's full of restaurants, cafes and hairdressers though.

There are two major retailers - Fatface and Superdry and two or three independents in the town centre. Then an M&S and Next on a retail park. There is simply no where for men to shop. One by one the women shops are closing as well. New Look and H&M are distressed. If they go the women will be in the same predicament as men.

It's frustrating as well because I find if you are of a reasonably average size there is little choice due to the lack of stock availability.

Okehurst mate. You'll living in cloud cuckoo land if you think BH is in buyback territory. It 's for companies with excess cash and quite often no decent growth prospects. BH need all the cash they can get to turn around our trading position and anything left over to invest in growth.

I'd sooner see a dividend eventually rather than buybacks, but even that is a long long way off.

It's not about having big ambitions it's more about exposing yourself to a situation that is unprecedented that PIs in general know very little about and there is a reason they bailed - they know what they are doing.

Invariably in these situations its always PIs who are left holding the baby.
