Regarding these companies and to give a bit of context into what’s being inferred by the delirious rampers and to instil a sense of realism back into the discussions in here:

Apple - Nearly went bankrupt
Tesla - nearly went bankrupt
Amazon - lost millions in the first 4/5 years

I’m invested in all three of these and because of the growth Tesla is around 40% of my portfolio. I think there is a big consensus at the moment, certainly in the case of Tesla, that these stocks are a bit bubblicious and we may be seeing a repeat of 1999. So be careful what you wish for.

Be started an exit plan to come out of Tesla while the going is good and will hang onto the other two are they are seriously strong business on fundamentals.

So my point is these are great companies but are slow burners to get where they are now. I’m still crossing my fingers for JR’s £575m year one profits though!

I’ve just had another looks and only IAF2 and TAG were merged. OG sold the shares and call option to the new group.

1AF2 have merged with TAG and OG of which AZ is the beneficial owner per the RNS. I didn’t buy all the links when AP was getting excited all those months ago and telling us the iis were loading up when infactmthe opposite was happening.

There’s a good article in the FT this morning on the car industry struggling to procure enough semi conductors due to a global shortage and them being stock piled for big tech.

I got in yesterday afternoon and am up nearly 30% already.

Between this BIDS and SYME it’s been a fruitful week so far.

I took the plunge into BIDS today.

Long term hold for me and something I’m passionate about as well which helps.

I wouldn’t rule out getting a tr-1. There was one for the call option as it was a potential increase in a major holding. Although it looks like it wasn’t exercised the potential size of the company tag/orchestra has possible control of has changed.

I’m not too sure how I feel about cash shells. I like to know what I’m investing in and have a rough idea of timescales. They seem a bit too open ended for me.

I was in Vela for a bit and i just didn’t find it a comfortable investment for me. I like to pour over the business and model it’s part of the sport for me. A month ago I never knew a thing about helium! I think Bidstack will be my next play as it’s right up my street and something for me to get my teeth stuck into.

Should do nicely for the share price on Monday.

I’ve decided to research Bidstack in that little lot. Looks like it hasn’t really got going yet and opportunities with some big names (Ubisoft mentioned in one RNS), a cycle of nextgen consoles about to start, plus games prices haven’t really moved up with inflation so developers need to monetise as much as possible. Big genres - sports, car racing, open world in cities, etc, all have big opportunities to place strategic advertising in them.
