All this tinkering fuels the negative speculation imo.

So the net result from this is we won’t find out what happened between Jun and Sep 20 till April 2021 but will receive up to Dec 20 at the same time.

So we won’t find out this month about any potential onboarding income from what would have been storm harbour, unless it was received before June. We’ll have to wait till Apr 21.

I get it - we’re clearly just starting so it makes sense to re-align the period with the operation into year. It don’t help though from a PR point of view.

Not so sure. Obviously there’s a lot of financial difficulty at the moment so there’s lots of evidence to support that the disclosures have to be made. For example, I’ve got alerts set up for EasyJet (of which I’m an investor) and Cineworld, and they have kept the markets up to date once they have refinanced.

As shareholders we should be informed whenever there is a change to the capital composition of the company.

This is one of the areas that needs to be tested. If these Syme framework is replacing an existing financing I think the (listed) client should have a duty to disclose if you look at the substance of the transaction over it’s legal form.

Imagine being a shareholder of one of the client companies. The company is not nit suddenly ‘debt free’ they have moved their existing financing into the ‘new wheel’.

Well I guess what the loan companies do with the shares is a separate matter.

The point I was making is that the proceeds of the loan are being offered as a source of funding not for the acquisition of the bank as the research doc is suggesting, per the July RNS.

I know there is a disclaimer on there but I just thought if the information was being published and distributed then it was worth pointing out.

I’ve just spotted something on the research doc that you might want to change. In the Banco Del Ceresio section there is speculation that the proceeds of the loans that 1AF2 received were to fund the captive bank/license. However if you look back to the RNS of 29th of July regarding the loan transaction it states:

“SYME has been further informed by 1AF2 that, subject to regulatory approvals, it will offer to invest funds from the capital raised into the Company's inventory funding process alongside institutions (in the Open-Funding and Self-Funding structures) as described in the Trading Update RNS of 27 July 2020.”

So the money raised from the loan is being offered as a source of open funding rather than to purchase/facilitate the captive bank.”

Syme can help perfectly viable companies who are simply refinancing.

Nothing wrong with having finance and certainly doesn’t mean a company is in difficulty.

Plus it’s good for us shareholders if companies are financed by banks/ rather than being diluted, provides a tax shield as interest payments are tax deductible which leaves more profit available for dividends to a reduced number of holders.

It’s the funders name we’re expecting for the open funding channel.

I can’t think they will be releasing client companies names, given the confidentiality.

In the case of large companies and in my own experience banks general know when large caps are looking to refinance due to the network of advisors both parties use.

It’s another case of waiting for confirmatory news but it looks like it’s ready to rock. A clever concept with gaming and esports being massive and also a market that is already used to being massively advertised to.

The results are 18 months to 30/09/20.

Initially in an RNS when things were on track for October we were expecting approx £2m onboarding fees from what would above been storm harbour. It’s obviously unclear where this stands now with the delays and storm harbour in its previous form no longer in existence.

Sold Boohoo and moved it to CFD today to free up some room in my isa and double up on Draft Kings over in US.

I'm not expecting a big decline. The headwinds that we had this time last quarter have calmed down somewhat. I think there was a lot of profit taking today from short term holders who bought in under £3 at the last big dip.

The RTO was to raise funds. Previously it was an Italian company Supply@me srl which rolled up into Abal Group Plc.

Was thinking of taking some but didn’t in the end. Last results session in September was quite volatile with the rehashing of the slave stories and the auditor news breaking. I’m hoping this will be a lot calmer this time and we can move onwards and upwards.
