But in order to grow sale right? Companies don't just keep all the cash in a money bin like Scrooge McDuck.

It still adds to the margin and bottom line providing it helps produce the expected growth.

PeePee - BH uses a mix of suppliers, countries and delivery methods, as any company should in order to mitigate risk. However they have specifically said that air freight costs have had a material detrimental impact. So unless you are saying they are lying you are talking nonsense again.

That’s one case where the directors were particularly dishonest and up to now good in conjunction with other parties. What about all the companies where this hadn’t happened. That’s like saying don’t invest your money because Enron and Worldcom happening so they must all be crooked.

Last time I looked the NOMADs were not auditors.

This is where you show your stupidity. The conference call is nearly always a couple of hours after releasing the data. Giving the analysts time to absorb the information and prepare their questions and responses.

The irony here being that is exactly what you are doing - using the first part of the statement because it suits your agenda and completely ignoring the direct comment in relation to profitable sales, ie no longer busy fools, and the change in strategy.

So you might as well never believe anything a directory says because it will nearly always be spin. Even though there are serious consequences for misleading markets, etc. Not to say spin doesn’t happen but it can’t just be to suit.

I mean in terms of how long it will take up to ramp up[ capacity, learn lessons, etc. You can't just flick a switch on an NDC and off it goes. WE also dont know how quickly the demand for that full capacity will take to build. During the time I'm expecting heavy exceptions, heavy duplications and heavy customer acquisition costs.

Boohoo is not going to £200m any time soon imo. But getting in when it does will be too late. You place your bet when it’s downtrodden and see how it’s goes.

Two years probably for automations and USNDC to kick in and absorb and exceptional costs and depreciation in my opinion based on my work experience of seeing how these roll out.

What people don’t factor in either is what should be a growing contribution from the acquired brands - Karen miller, burtons etc, and the growing Debenhams marketplace.

Then factor in receding headwinds and I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch to see how this company turns around in the medium term.

Pedro - has that demographic stopped buying clothes though in this social media mad group. Big ticket purchase yes but are they really not buying any clothes. Plus I think BH could benefit by those trading down to something more affordable.
