I think we should be cashing out along the way and taking some of the risk off the balance sheet.

Then we wouldn’t need to borrow so much and raise further funds.

Hsbc won’t let you buy crypto shares so be careful, not the same as binance I know but I’ve got a feeling all the major uk banks will follow suit.

Hi Quik - It's the same if you switch between investment funds not held in an ISA. It counts as a separate acquisition and disposal for CGT.

So you've basically sold you crypto last tax year and have GBP sat in your crypto account which you need to bring back into your UK bank account to pay your tax bill.

I would have thought you can pay euros into a GBP account but the bank will shaft you on the spread. It might be you cannot so this under SEPA though, I'm not too sure.

I buy regularly from Ted Baker and the stuff takes about a week as I don't do next day and prefer the free delivery. Hermes are an awful firm to partner up with though.

I'm also in TED and they've improved there net cash position so shouldn't and are in the middle of their turnaround plan so are not anywhere near administration.

They are not as slick operationally as ASOS and BOO but I don't think the experience is any different with them say compared to Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hillfiger or Lacoste for example. They are not fast fashion afterall.

Hi QuikBuck - From what I have read they stopped faster payments when the news broke due to 'maintenance' and you may not be able to pay the money back to your debit card. However you should be able to transfer it back into your account via a normal payment (not too sure if they use CHAPS or BACS) or if not a SEPA payment which is an EU BACS payment but may well have to be in euros. I guess by now faster payments might be back up and running.

I've not used Binance so am just passing on what I can recall from articles I have read since this all kicked off.

I work for a company that doesn't compete on price but on accessibility and reliability.

What’s clear is this is no way near off the mark yet but the opportunity for those who have a patience and are prepared to keep supporting the company with funds could be massive. The platform while making some commercial returns is nowhere near finished.

This latest raise feels like the start of the start of a new investment for me now. I’ve averaged down to 4p and will keep an eye on progress and may top us further in the short term. No one is going to make a quick buck here imo. Anyone sitting on their losses not prepared to wait clearly needs to exit.

I think this would be a good entry point for new investors though.

They need to get a proper board in to spend it otherwise it will get ****ed up the wall. Least GC has plenty of skin in the game. They definitely need to look past the masks because they’ve executed poorly and the opportunity is shrinking. It sounds from the annual report that they are not looking for mass market anyway but targeted towards clinical settings. I think they’ll struggle to get them into the NHS because of the price unless they can operate on a wafer thin margin.

I don’t really know enough about the other stuff and I’m weak on the science so you can see why it isn’t for me!

I almost bought back in to RMS when it dipped under 100. Could have traded it nicely. I read the accounts this week and I thought they were terrible, no executive leadership either. I really like GC though, but he is a scientist not a businessman. It's funny the turbine business that they've sold that needed more investment sounded like the most exciting proposition to me.

I've brought ARB and also a large position (for me) in GLEN as long term strategic holds for 5 to 10 years for something to hopefully pass down to my son or if he needs help with Uni, car, wedding, etc.

Started a position in CBX as well which will be launching products in the summer. Started a couple of EFTS as well in clean energy and UK property. Bit boring but I like to diversify and spread my risk a bit.

I’m about mate. Just don’t post on Syme anymore and mostly sold out of there last month after the CLN news. Going to start building a position again if it moves along a bit once things become more clearer.

I’ve got a fair bit of dry powder at the minute so have been building new positions and topping up quite a bit on existing holds.

I’ve bought more today as a punt more than anything.

I’ve taken a punt and doubled what is now a rather measly holding.

Taking an extremely long view, like bottom drawer have a look back in five years and see if there is anything left.

I still think it’s a great idea with massive potential and can be done in a way that won’t infuriate gamers. I don’t think it’s even going to be niche if it can be accepted as a concept.

I still see it as at concept stage though so not fussed about not seeing the results in games at the moment, etc. A work in progress.

That’s one thing BOO have always done really well, the cool marketing side.

I’ve seen the TV ad as well for Debenhams which is smartly done.

It’s getting to the point where I’m thinking this might actually be worth a speculative top up and a massive average down now.
