My guess is this RNS is linked to CCS. I think the only way the dial will be moved on this is when the rig is onsite and production can start. RW has stated many times he has trimmed back on wages and CCS costs so personally i am not currently worried by a raise (but this is AIM). I think you can look at this glass half full or empty, me i am half full with the rig due in September but at we are on Selan's agenda now. Their SP has started to move recently and not sure why. Thoughts from the sensible ones on here?

My guess would be an RNS Monday as this will be a June update. It sounds better if lets say a rig has been contracted and final workovers are commissioned for July, August September ect June to this date sounds a lot shorter than May. I am not saying its right but this would be my guess. Maybe the bonanza Monday RNS lol

Hindsight is a wonderfull thing! Investment houses will not try and catch the falling knife on a share price drop this is left for the PI's. I think what a lot of PI's forget is that the II's get more info than we do and i am not talking insider dealing but Per will be accountable to them and they will get a more in depth understading of the business and will likely understand the cost cutting, the direction where as we are left to speculate. Kenny Alexander is also suing the UKGC for what was the reason for the 2023 SP spike when he built a stake. The way the SP is acting to me i do think there are a few people actually accumilating shares in Evoke but as we always only time will tell. GLA

I think this also shows that if the board do start to aggressively repay the debt Evoke will be valued in the billions. If Per and his team run this ship right we are sitting on a monster and the minimum the MCAP will be will be 1 billion (currently £225 million) and the share price will be in the £2-£3 range. Im guilty of watching daily Level 2 movements thinking shall i trade it but FOMO kicks in. Good news and sentiment is needed in all shares and when we get this this will fly. I think there will be people sitting in the wings watching this ready to make a move for a T/O and people need to remember 156p was offered by playtech not that long ago and it was declined my guess is 250p would be the T/O figure accepted. I know it was COVID but remeber WH SP at 37p and the final price of 271p in a very short space of time. I am now starting to thing Per has been bought in to either prepare for sale or sell off the failing parts of the business and build proper growth. I think the Winner purchase in Romania proves this

I dont think there will be anymore raises and I am of the belief RW will hold Selen accountable. If you look up his history with Star Energy it wasn't always plain sailing and that came good in the end. On cashflow i thought this raise you would have thought would see them through 12 months maybe, if the cutbacks are complete and the Indian Operation is now making a small profit so not a drain. Salaries and running a PLC are the costs and would these be more than the 750K raised? Gordon you may know more

I cant understand who is selling at these prices unless they think it will fall a lot more. This share is a bloodbath, 70p just over a week ago, how low can it slide? Might be a II with a TR1 tomorrow with a sell out

I think this will now become an active takeover target, although i dont think the board would entertain even a £1.20 takeover price

Is it me or am i missing something? Obviously this is not good times for the company but if £12400 moves the dial down by this much then it could be the same on the way up? - I am not for one minute suggesting this will be soon with the recent sx1t show but its only if you sell there is a problem. I get some people will be trying to get out to get something back as they think it could be nothing in the end but i still see this as an ultra low undervalued company. Selen are obviously up to something - maybe get Cambay on the cheap but surely RW will be able to do something if they are not keeping to their side of the contract. This is India i know but without all the nonsense what are peoples thoughts?

Gambling stocks are always a risk, but this is now a sitting duck for a takeover. People question the takeover of WH but there could be a few caught out here as I think a takeover might come from the US once they have no operations there. You never get the full story from CEO's or CFO's but are they simply setting this up for a Takeover. The Debt is obvously the elephant in the room and if you listen to the Investor Presentation they gloss over this with the 5.7 leverage figure. Bottom line is there are some cash generative companies in this sector and I think any takeover bid would start the bidding at 120p but would there only be one suiter my guess would be not as i think this would be a very quick and cheap entry to some quality regulated markets. Anyone who thinks gambling is not going to get bigger is naive, its here to stay and although some would say the UK market is saturated this will grow and grow

Gordon, someone i knows Roland and was offered in on the raise, I have since seen the publications on the raise after him being on the 'inside' which is an interesting read. Never say never but i dont see how and where they would get the money for a raise, i think they only did it because of the cost of the previous loan and that adds added pressure. Thus said i am not overly keen on Darbyshires appointment as he was a serial raiser in his last company and i worry he is just on the gravy train advising Roland

I dont think this is going bust, i feel the sentiment is just at an all time low, but i also think that is the market in general. No that my opinion counts for anything, i think traders trade crypto now because of the swings (Bitcoin 64k low to 74k high in last 5 days, XRP 1.71 low to 2.30 high last 5 days GBP prices) and people look at this to make money this way instead. Hindsight is a wonderful thing especially in shares, but greed usually gets the better of us, i always say its harder to know when to sell when in profit than it is to hold when the share is underwater. The market simply doesnt believe SYN that it is ready to produce cash. I have mentioned figures before but dont wish to go through them again but when we drill and IF (big IF) it is sucessful then this will re rate and we know how quickly this can happen, Say we produce £5 million in 2026 (our 50%) how can we have an MCAP of £3.8Million, i would suggest an MCAP of £25 million which would give an SP of 0.195, I dont know what peoples thoughts are on this, there also could be an uplift of knowing the company will never have to raise again based on that income so we might finally get some market sentiment driving the MCAP up. To me the main issue is the market still doesnt believe we are there yet but when and IF we are the market will have to react. The market still sees us as producing nothing apart from some old wells and until that changes which i believe will be H2 all this nonsense on here just will pull the price down. I do believe Roland in no more raises but now it his time to stand up be counted and deliver the shareholder value we all crave and invested in the first place for

This update to me really feel for the BB's and the drastic decline in the SP, i do think AIM market is suffering at the moment however you have to fel this will change. I simply cannot understand how we are sitting at 0.04 with a MCAP of just over GBP 5 million. The $20 million WP equates to GBP 16 million, what do people think the SP would be if we were GBP 8 million cash at bank funding our 50% of the WP??? I think this proves we are undervalued but i also think the focus and importance of the 3 wells will ultimately determine the real SP of this company and also shareholder value going forward. Gordon you seem to be up on the income from wells but surely if the numbers are $1million per month so $12million per year ( just under £10 million per year) we would be valued alot more than today and my guess is around 0.3 to 0.4 what do others think? (sorry for $ & £s)

No inside information Kaltersee just common sense, ask yourself why you bought in and the usual answer is you believed it would make money. If this was valued at 0.20 would people being buying more? I am not sure but the way I see it Cambay is the asset that is going to unlock the value to this company and it is why I am invested. If it drops to 0.03 will I be selling- not a chance but Cambay will still be the same valuable asset as I see it. With the SP where it is the only way to move it will be income from Cambay and if that happens the market will have to update

Everyone is welcome to their opinion i think the workovers are not the main play in Cambay. I think these put the company on even keel and stops any cashburn. When the 3 new wells are drilled this will bring the dollar

Roland has gone to India for two things, firstly to push on Cambay, this is now the main focus of his role at the moment and my guess would be Darbyshire has gone to see if there is some sort of inter financing deal between Selen and Syn. If i was Selan and I knew how big Cambay could potentially be it would be a no brainer to take some shares whilst they are the floor to help them along. As i understand it now Cambay washes its own face on a monthly basis so some cost cutting is being made on UK CCS due to Harbour energy but I believe Roland is India to really kickstart proper timescales on Cambay as unfortunately India is not as quick to complete business. Secondly I think it is more presentations on CCS in India, although most shareholders wont be around for the CCS in UK or India if Cambay gets bought out (which I think it will do once producing) the company will need to focus on something and we all know this seems to be Rolands baby. GLA and fingers crossed the revenue starts gushing in this year and all are rewarded

I think there is a strong possibility that SYN will have to raise this year which will be a bitter pill to swallow for us LTH's. My only hope is that the markets has this totally wrong but i dont know if that is my own stupidity because of the investment i hold in this company. A current MCAP of £5.73 million that we are told by the year end 2025 should be producing significant cashflow from Cambay (which I do believe) and i still genuinely feel we are undervalued. At these prices it feels new investors could make a lot of money just when will the rerate actually happen
