Still can't believe this share is only worth around 1/3rd of its pre-attack value - as a LTH I averaged down to around 950 anticipating a fairly swift return to around at least a tenner - I can only presume that the Woodford holding is having a detrimental effect to its return to a decent trading range.

Its a bit awkward working it out - From RNS 2nd April - The Buyback Programme will be effected in accordance with the Authority in that the maximum price paid per Ordinary Share is to be no more than 105 per cent. of the average middle market closing price of an Ordinary Share for the five business days preceding the date of purchase. The Buyback Programme will commence today and will continue until 30 September 2019.

They set their conditions (105%) and with the volatility of the share price I reckon they have couldn't do it on the way up and probably chose not to do it on the way back down and were consequently too late to do it on the bounce - they have until 30th September and then it will stop according to the RNS - just imho

One thing I have noticed is the absence of RNS/TR1s either buys or sells by big institutions crossing reporting thresholds - not sure if this is a good or bad thing ??

Echo undertook further extensive well intervention activity on Fracción D in Q3 2018 with the aim of increasing oil production, and associated cashflows. These four pulling jobs (wells CSo-96, CSo-104, CSo-21, and CSo-80) have now been commissioned, with production, pumps and offtake having also been optimised. Production from these wells has contributed to a total average net production to the Group of 865 barrels of oil equivalent per day (“boe/d”) for the year.

The suggestion - by Burford - that they are considering a buy-back would have had a positive effect - without actually needing to follow through with that action - after all it's an expression of confidence in their own stock (just imho!)

Hopefully you are correct billy - just pointing out that it may not be as clear cut as it seems - I personally will not take a further position and profit from this sad event - but that's just a moral stance I am choosing to take on this occasion - others no doubt will have their own views on the morality of doing so

I think you'll find that's correct Billy's - if there's any doubt about a malfunction of the shutters killing the robber then the bank would have liability (may be passed to insurers or manufacturers) crazy innit ! (This may not apply internationally tho but wouldn't bank on it)

Not quite sure it'll be seen that glen core not at fault - reckon the h&s will say that glen has a responsibility in regards any accidents on their concession whether legit or not
