Invest to save. We all know that the share price can be manipulated up an down through legal means, if not entirely moral. But you have to be careful mentioning UBS and them leaking information. You will get yourself in trouble by doing that as you are mentioning illegal activity based on a feeling you might have and that is irresponsible

Otherwise I agree with you getting as high a figure as possible is what we are all here for (well except the shorters of course). I personally have never guessed any figures in relation to a potential sale price and I never will as I don't feel I am knowledgeable enough to get it within the ballpark, however like most people I do have a figure in which I would love to get for my shares.

I think the main issue here invest 2 save is that you are putting it out there that there could be potential illegal activity going on. Bringing up potential leaks as one of the potential reasons for why the share price is where it is now. That is irresponsible, has no basis in reality and is perhaps the main reason why your comments haven't been well recieved. You surely can't expect us to discuss this sort of thing on a mesageboard and it's wrong of you to even bring it up. As for what a final sale price could potentially be, then okay that's fine to discuss but if you want to discuss it at least say how you come to any figures otherwise whether ramping or deramping it's just a figure plucked from the air.

Invest 2 save, perhaps it would help if you actually provided some basis for your opinion. Everyone can have an opnion, what counts it backing it up with evidence or how you come to that conclusion. Such as how you came to approx 2 billion as the likely figure and no more and why you believe that there could be leaks which is why we are at 22p?. We can all throw things out there but there are actually people on this board that provide their research and figures and facts to back them up.

Yes PP, hopefully some results from the drilling soon and interim results. Hopefully that will have a positive impact on the share price prior to any news on the potential sale.

Okay PP, now to have clarified that you did know that there is a drilling season and that the freeze would stop the drilling which is not what you said in your previous couple of posts. Thanks for clarifying.

Tombi, people know the risks. The risks are there for any share. However the likelihood of a deal is much higher than no deal. Also the resources aren't just going to disappear so the value will always be there whether it be short term, medium or long term. The risk reward ratio here is very good, it's just about as good as you can get with the stock market. But of course people know shares are a risk, that why the rewards are better than 0.5 percent you get in an ISA which is almost risk free.
