Out of interest is there anyone knowledgeable about the tax implications of getting the deal in part shares and part cash?. My shares aren't in an isa anyway so I would have to pay capital gains tax but was just wondering how it would work say if we are given shares in a Russian company- would we pay capital gains tax just in the UK and would it be on the whole sale of the shares once sold or would they work out the profit on them somehow?

Thank you Ian. I think I may have been a tad optimistic in my rns date prediction but I thought it was worth a shot going for today. I think you are wise about being careful with the predictions on price. Some of them are so high there are bound to be people disappointed in even a good outcome. The prices you outlined I think are more realistic. I've kept from guessing any prices as to be honest I really don't know but I do trust the bod to get the best they can for us.

Well done hopsta999 I do understand gambling difficulties myself so well done for taking action to try and control the addiction. It's not easy. Unfortunately I've learned the hard way that on aim there are a lot of sharks that will pump up shares and cash out whilst leaving others holding the baby, I couldn't do that myself.

It does seen like the share price is being kept in a certain range. It's nice to see a bit of blue instead of red though. Hopefully it stays blue till close.

Yes pete that would be fair in my opinion as it's not your responsibility to account for any future re rate. Hopefully it works out well for you financially by doing this and you come out of it with a good chunk of money. Pete, what about if the divorce happens before the offer for the company and the big rerate?. Can you not keep the shares as part of the divorce and give her a higher percentage of something else as compensation for them and then you benefit from the re rate and not her?. Just trying to think of ways around it. The buying gold etc is not a bad idea but won't that also be an asset that will need to be split?. I'm not sure about crypto currency it's risky but to be fair I'm uneducated about it.

I am still here since before suspension. I haven't added any since suspension has been lifted (or sold any) but I have been tempted to add more and may do at some point.

Parsely, please don't compare Eurasia to Flybe. I learnt a lot of lessons from being in that share and it was a mistake. Flybe was a fire sale, they were in such debt they had no choice but to accept whatever they were offered. This is a totally different situation here. We don't have to accept whatever we are given or risk going into administration as flybe did. You make yourself look silly bringing that up as an example.

Your better with morals, you sleep better at night. Then again I doubt some of the parasitic rampers like Mr nation who only turn up when the share is rising and then disappear when it's dropping have trouble sleeping either as they are totally void of a consicence. Banjo I am considering that with a few of my others stocks. Difficulties are knowing when to sell the other stocks and when to buy. I've sold other shares at a loss in the past only to see them shoot up so it's a difficult one for sure. I have considered selling everything and putting it all in here though a couple of times but it's not easy.
