RE: Lynch extradited13 May 2023 10:15
Under this shambles of a government, Patel was given a job that she wasn't up to doing with any credibility. Extradition was agreed when 'Priti Patel' was Home Secretary.
In November 2017, it was reported that Priti Patel held a series of unauthorized meetings with Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during a family holiday in Israel in August of that year. These meetings were not authorized by the British government, and Patel did not disclose them to Prime Minister Theresa May or other senior government officials.
After news of the meetings broke, Patel initially claimed that the Foreign Office and Number 10 had been informed of her meetings. However, it was later revealed that this was not the case, and that Patel had misled the public and government officials about the nature and extent of her meetings.
Patel was subsequently forced to resign from her position as Secretary of State for International Development in November 2017, following a meeting with Prime Minister Theresa May. The Prime Minister stated that Patel's unauthorized meetings with Israeli officials had "fallen below the high standards that are expected of a Secretary of State."
The incident raised concerns about Patel's judgment and credibility, as well as highlighting the need for transparency and accountability in government dealings with foreign officials.
