When it comes to providing an explanation for selling a large number of shares, is there a legal requirement to give an explanation in all cases? As far as one is aware, some companies may have their own internal policies or governance guidelines that require executives or insiders to disclose the reason for such transactions. These policies may be aimed at promoting transparency and avoiding potential conflicts of interest. I agree an explanation should be put forward.

It's plausible that the recent report by the short-seller and the accusations, which are now in the dustbin, discouraged certain prospective customers. Fortunately, we have moved past that negative episode. Imagine a higher number of new customers, and the current position of the stock price had that incident not occurred. I reckon we’d be trading around 6’s!
