Nice enough rise early doors. Any reason for this?

You would have thought that a political entity which has remained more or less the same for 1000+ years would have more or less sorted tribalism. Perhaps this is a sign of the older system collapsing or maybe just good old fashioned divide and rule.

Longer term China will be alright (In general). I do actually believe that the spread of wealth will eventually lead to the government opening itself up in a slow ordered fashion. I have said before that there is a good chance that within the next 50 years they will be in a position to lecture us on human rights!

Looks good - another thing to look forward to.......!

With RWE - the takeover prospect is the very thing which makes it a bit of a punt. I fully expect to take a hit on these if the other bidder walks away. Though there has also been some chat about selling off the Canadian assets. Last year they paid a final dividend of 3.0 - wonder if they will be paying one this year!!

Just had a quick glance at CWP - it does look interesting. SP looks to have taken a battering over the last year or so. Will have more of a look later. Have to free up some cash somewhere though.

IDOX does look ok but seems likely to be a slow burner. BSST is nicely poised as it seems to have settled nicely - not sure whether to put more in just yet though. Wonder what you would make of RWE - I have been in and out of it for a while. Seems to have potential given current SP, Takeover and share buyback prospects on the table and has recently paid a dividend?

This seems to be making quite a good comeback given the beating the SP has taken over the last couple of months.

I'm in AFC and so far it isn't doing too great but that is at an extremely early stage of development. Good point on that one I think is no debt!

Don't think it is the first one this last year either. Funny how this has risen on the back of very few trades. Maybe things will get moving but you would have thought that there will be a lot of profit taking.

Been in this for a while - good to see the rise. Not sure whether the placing is good news. Would be keen to hear any thoughts on this by fellow investors. if any?

Morning peeps - Looks better than it did yesterday. Right about the market - it has been very slow.

Has HGAC forgiven me yet!!

Given the dividend and the drop this would be a good time to top up. Not got the fund available at present so now is the time to just sit and see what happens next.

Checked in this morning and seems things are a littel becalmed at present.
