I have been watching this for a while and took today as an opportunity to get in. Fingers crossed but surely this will be a decent investment.
Bounced about a bit today. Wonder if there is something big around the corner though I don't know if it will be good or bad. Stock is apparently being shorted but I cannot work out whether these have recently been closed or remain open. Either way would expect that an announcement regarding the prospective takeover (Approach) will be made soon. Still in but against my better judgement!
0.0008 - I got a total of 3.06. It is being reinvested as we speak. Apparently I may be getting 306 shares for it!!!!
Dividend payday today - yippee!
In this share myself. Like the company as I have some business with them (Albeit at a lowly level). Think the dividend is quite handy but was wondering if you still see an upside from here?
Anyone care to guess what the big news is going to be?
Like the (stated) Cash position in relation to current market cap. Lie the Divi. The forward order book etc. Can you see further upside from here?
Is it just me or does this share still look like it's good value?
Hey guys - having a look through this and think that it could be an interesting play with a 3.0 dividend in the pipeline.
Have you seen the buying activity over at IDOX?
This seems to be stuck in the doldrums at the moment - despite there being a good RNS fairly recently. Maybe it's hit a ceiling or maybe its pausing for air, I am uncertain but unconcerned as I am in profit and having reinvested my dividend, I am optimistic. HGAC / Spiritfinder - have highly rated this share and a target of over 50p has been forwarded.
Well I find it somewhat difficult to flirt with someone who goes by the name of alfie!
No apology neccesary. Would carry on with the banter but will wait until such time as it has a BSST element. Have a good one fella.
LOL well actually more grq
'insist' may be somewhat strong there!
Anyone know the Ex-Div date to be involved in this?
What do you make of those big trades yesterday (As shown on this site)
Make no mistake - Spiritfinder and HGAC have an uncanny knack of finding winners. They have both helped make me profit on at least a couple of occasions. Have been in IDOX for quite a while now and have had paper losses over 10% (I don't believe in Stop losses specially for small caps) - I have confidence this is will swing into profit given time and there is a degree of assurance given by an expected dividend. Also make no mistake that number crunching is not something I do (A lot of) - my trading / Investing strategy is a little less sophisticated. As for PXS - my misgivings are more to do with the timing (Recent increases) and personal circumstances. I have a lot of small cap companies where I am holding positions similar to the IDOX situation detailed above. I believe more in topping up than stop losses - so PRX will be potentially another Financial commitment (And one I am not ready for yet). I am interested in the Fruitflow® anti-thrombotic and Coca-Cola potential, both of which may serve as Price catalysts in the future. Trouble with PRX for me is it is hard to see an obvious value but than again that may be said to be the case with most AIM stocks. They seem to be overwhelmingly sensitive to news good and bad. I have a lot to learn!!!!
That is actually quite old news and if anything I feel that the ending of discussions is in fact a good thing for this share. Slightly perverse perhaps but I would have thought that potential investors may have held back as buying during the offer period may have been considered a gamble. The writing on the wall was probably in Bold when the first party walked away and whether they undervalued or considered the ask price as overvaluing the company is no longer of any importance.
Still considering averaging down? I can vaguely remember an article in shares magazine suggesting that consideration was being given to selling off the Canadian Business - have you heard anything of this. To my basic brain this wouldn't make sense as this is a more established business and given that it takes a while to move into profitability surely selling would be an error (unless forced!)
