Good to see the excessive cashpile put to good use.

Only three weeks ago CEO Wardle invested a good chunk of his money at around 17.5p per share. His purchase was not an act of stupidity, but an act of foresight.

If CFO buys now, I would not be sure whether I could applaud his judgment.

The Directors probably knew more than shareholders when they sold a large chunk of their shares at 105/106p in July 2017 (see RNS 28/7/2017).

Today's Trading Update is not going to make many shareholders happy. It could hardly be more disappointing.

Topped up yesterday at 46p, I view this one a safe growth stock which will do nicely in the long term, no hurry.

TrekMadone - Perhaps accidentally, but you have your facts wrong. Revenue BEFORE acquisitions up 4% (not AFTER).. Revenue including acquisitions up 22%. These are good figures, pleasing figures - assuring me, and many others, that APH is on the right track.

Trading Update today (see RNS) looks good to me, share price likely to rise substantially over the coming days/weeks.

The share price is now down to the level at which the Directors were buying large scale only about two weeks ago,
does anyone think they were buying for fun, i.e. without expectations of the share price going up a good deal further?
Surely they bought on the massively improved prospects, with the oil reserves plus further potentials rising dramatically.
Now is not a time to sell, IMO.

I see no reason for the share price to go as low as 61p. The fundamentals are strong and l maintain my view that the shares deserve to trade above 80p, and indeed I believe we shall see 100p+ before this year is out.

I bought yesterday at 23.5p, which I consider a low price to pay for a small stake in a steady growth
Company with a very healthy balance sheet (cash in the bank). Dividend is expected to rise to 0.6p for
current financial year (Edison forecast).

I have only one comment to make on the Results out today: WOW!

When Directors buy for non-cosmetic reasons, then the shares are probably seriously worth the money.
It is clear to me that the recent Directors' purchases are for non-cosmetic reasons.

Excellent value here! Slater recognizes good value and is wise enough to stock up.

The share price at 23p is down a fair bit from its high of 27p about a week ago. Yet even at 27p the shares were still cheap.When looking at forecast 4p EPS for current year and 6p EPS for next year the shares deserve to trade well above 30p. We may well see the latter happening when markets stabliize and the general outlook becomes more positive (despite Trump). IMHO.

RNS today / Trading in line with expectations. Feet on the ground, no exaggerations.
Progress continues all the time, steady as she goes, accumulating cash and more cash.

See RNS today. / It all sounds interesting (if not confusing), but the words Profit / Loss are missing, , I fear the latter (Loss) will feature prominently when financial Results are published. Gallant efforts, no change in that respect from the past.

One thing I can say with a fair degree of certainty about RED, and that is: : .... Management excels at making losses.

Looks like the ongoing work is establishing the presence of a large, very large oil field.
AMS's share price is bound to rise very substantially, I reckon we shall see 15p+ before
end of trading today.
