I agree with you there but you gotta try to get some answers. Re the decision to P&A Lincoln, I don't think we will ever know, well certainly not with this BOD. Where i am just now would snap their hands off for what it produced, that one well produces the same oil as the 20 wells, where i am now, added together. Mad!

Also just found an email in my junk mail with the link to attend the court hearing. I wasn't going to bother due to work but might try and sneak away to listen.

"ARA who are now prepared to further advance certain pre-drilling operations for the Chikumbi-1 well. The Company and ARA will advance works so that drilling of the well can commence as soon as practicable following the satisfaction of the remaining conditions precedent, which are the granting of the Mtwara licence extension and government approval for the transfer of interest and operatorship."

What's people's thoughts on drilling before the year is out or too soon? The previous 2 Wells were spudded at the end of December. I'm not even sure if AEX/ARA secured a drilling rig, I remember it being tendered For? There is also solo costs to consider (unless they sell)

Wrong, like I said before oil flows into the horizontal 'open' wellbore from the 70 odd fractures that it drilled though. You don't perforate hard granite. You do perforate on other oil formation sands ie. Not fractured basement. The whole point of perforating is to create a path to the wellbore, which already exists in 'fractured' basement. The clue is in the name.

20yrs offshore says otherwise. You clearly haven't done any research on drilling fractured basement. Nevermind, I tried. Did u even look at my reference. Its a picture so you should have no trouble understanding it.

I think you'll find it's cased down to the heel and the horizontal part is 'open hole' go to page 18 of the latest capital market presentation for a diagram. Perforating is for pay zones. Fractured basement is solid rock with natural path back to the casing
