Could be a smart move. Day 10 is tomorrow by my reckoning so there’s got to be a risk that this could drop back below the dollar mark again shortly after.
MM is the joker in the pack here, when it comes to takeover and price. I can’t see this trading its way to back over £1 very quickly so a takeover of some sort is best way to bring an end to an unhappy listing. If MM can retain control and a stake in any PE arrangement and then re float in the US then I think UK takeover price wouldn’t matter to him.
I can see this playing out like Ted Baker PE sale went. Initial offers rejected as too low but then eventually succumbing to a lower offer after failure to demonstrate they could trade their way back to a higher SP.
This has struggled to get to even half the supposed 170p offers that were previously rejected. Personally I don’t think we’ll be in that ball park again and anticipate something in the £1.30 to £1.50 range.
Markets are forward looking and the main interest from the update will have been around future prospects. With the LA DC now under control and more favourable tailwinds in most markets this looks a good recovery prospect. The investor call was handled well and I sensed from the tone of the questioning that there we no red flags to drag this down. Whilst the first broker update has been lowered slightly it is still comfortably over the £2 mark.
Let’s see what the next round of broker recommendations bring.
I expect this to be back over £2 in the next 12 months.
Don’t agree with the rudderless comment.
I’ve just been on the investor call - and have done many of these before. These 2 are well across their brief giving clear and concise answers and information to all the analyst questions.
I expect this to push on from here over the next few months now.
I can’t see Fooler getting a placing away for the next round of funding. He has nothing to offer - no carrot to dangle - and most traders have been stung by Fooler placing in the past that have been backed by promises that have failed to be met. In short, they wouldn’t touch this with a barge pole.
I expect it to be back to equity based finance at the sewer end of the scale, which will be pretty ruinous for the SP. Then in a few years time there’ll be a consolidation, assuming this is still around and not delisted.
Must admit it looked highly suspicious activity.
Too many stocks are controlled and manipulated by algo’s. Not sure what can be done about it but companies should certainly flag this where they feel that blatant manipulation is taking place.
The wheels fell off this pretty quickly, what’s the problem ?
And will we even meet the 10 day 1 dollar compliance requirement ?
Good to see news flow backing up the rise to over a dollar. Question is, will it all dry up again once we’ve done the 10 day compliance requirement or can it push on from here.
If there’s a material change to what is their only agreement of any worth, the the Nomad should be making them put at a communication if they were doing their job (chortles).
If nothing has changed and they still get the same payments per passenger then Fooler would be making his usual song and dance about it.
My money is on the former and the Nomad is just useless in these matters. Maybe we’ll find out properly the end of April, or maybe Fooler will just fudge the issue for as long as possible.
