What is Fooler going to be able to offer to any new (supposed) strategic investor ? What will Pantheon think of that ?

Also, I’d expect any offshore banking to be at punitive rates given the precarious nature of previous projects. Look how much shareholder provided funds have been ‘spaffed up the wall’ with little to no return on some of these projects (ferry, Tema, etc. the list goes on and on).

Strange that nobody seems to be interested that the SP is down 20% today ahead of the AGM and before delayed results are out. Not looking good, Fooler will need to be on full ‘jam’ mode tomorrow. Or maybe Pantheon are active ?

Will the accounts be released before end of the year and, if so, what date might they go for.

I think both holders and former holders have a right to post here. Those who previously believed are just as much entitled to their opinion even if it was some time ago. Looking back over time can tell us a lot when it comes to assessing the future don’t you think ?

‘ They could delay results to wait for a contract to land maybe. ’ That implies they’d do this because results are bad and would want to sweeten them. But we’ve all seen this sort of form from Fooler before and can see straight through it.

Let’s face it, WSG are a small company so it can’t be difficult to finalise year end results and get them out if they wanted to. For some reason they are holding back.

I agree with 10 years of posting rubbish but most of that rubbish has been about how the company is on the ‘cusp’ of this contract or that contract, or turning the corner. Apparently now it is at an inflection point.

The company is in a worse state than it was 10 years ago by most metrics, so 10 years of rubbish postings on a bulletin board reflects accurately don’t you think ?

And that affects the finals how ?

Maccers, you have a ‘MAGA’ cult like support for everything Pete does. Do you not see that it is highly irregular for an AGM to be held with no final results available to present and vote on ? Just because it may be legal and permissible to the Nomad you are happy ?

Seems like the AGM would pretty much be a waste of time if that’s the case. There can’t be a vote to accept results if they’ve not been issued in time surely. Only other votes are normally to re-elect whoever is up for election and to approved auditors renewal and remuneration.

I think there are issues on social media, bulletin boards etc with misinformation in both directions, both 'ramping' and 'de-ramping'. The bear side of this can certainly include directors etc.

But to let's not paint out that these are poor innocents who are just trying to do the best for shareholders. The AIM market setup has allowed CEO's, directors, brokers etc. to get away with some shocking abuses and downright criminal behaviour to support their lifestyles. There are many instances of where social media commentators have been flagging up companies and individuals as frauds, and utilimately been proven right. We shouldn't seek to silence this to protect the guilty.

Not sure this warrants a 10% drop on the day, especially as it’s come off 15% from recent highs.

Wood will get £250 million cash injection straight away as well access to another £200 million. This would likely deter another bidder from entering as it ties Wood in to Sidara at a financial level before the deal is fully finalised.

You do wonder why there’s been no RNS yet as I’m sure they know the result. Are they finalising wording with Sidara ?

I can see this staying around 22p even if the result is announced as Yes. Oddest behaviour I've seen on a company in the midst of a takeover like this.

Hargreaves Lansdowne holding will be their nominee account ie..it’s not theirs it’s all the shares held by all their customers. So they won’t be voting at all it is all the customers of HL who own Wood shares that are voting on their individual holdings. The same is true of II and a number of other organisations who may look like significant holders but in reality aren’t.

I think the offer of 30p will get approved on Monday, however holders have a long wait before receiving that with a number of hurdles still to be passed before then. I think market makers will discount by at least 10% given the number of people likely wanting to take funds now rather than hang around for months waiting for the full 30p.
