LOL - that is EXACTLY what the IIs are doing - they had their chance to bring the board down - they didn't take it.

Yes - many of them didn't vote - that is a clear signal they don't endorse this board - but they recognise the only play here is to let the board see the deal through

And most PIs will take profits of some sort - depending on when they bought in - some are sitting on big losses - it's very transparent which camp you are in

Cite some precedent - show us where a share under suspension (AND under FCA investigation) for mis-stating the accounts - with the clock is ticking on debt repayment - can REMOVE the whole board - REPLACE the whole board - and transform the financial reputation of the company- before the accounts are released - and before Sidara make an official bid

You seem to think that the ICs hold the same levels of outrage that you are exhibiting - but for them this is business - and WG investments are probably already written off - and most likely offset against tax

In my view, the real issue here is the board clearly doing everything they can to avoid publishing the full audited accounts. The internal review was wrapped up a while ago, the numbers will already be known behind closed doors

Well - let's look at that reality - Sidara walked away from a bid when the share price was north of 150p

Now they are back - offering 35p - if the board were confident of the CURRENT (not historical) financial position - they would be telling Sidara where to stick their offer - but they are NOT doing that - they are doing exactly he OPPOSITE.

Pre-suspension - the share price was 18p - that's what the market thinks of the CURRENT position of the company

When it comes to WG - I'm not sure you are dealing with reality

Private investors don't rock the boat of ANY FTSE 350 company (Oh oh - now that IS historic)

Most lenders won’t rock the boat, especially not in the middle of an FCA investigation and with zero accounts.

It's been a strange day - luckily!

I sold BP. earlier - and it looks like I caught the peak - just looking for them to pull back - so I can buy back

My fingering is hovering on the BUY button for BARC - but still looking for an extra penny's gain - I will probably leave it too late - and end up missing out

Yeah - I posted the same thought yesterday - I think the SFO will at least be waiting for the new accounts - the differences between the old vs new accounts may well show evidence of law-breaking

Logically if the institutions were backing a deal it would have been over the line by now.
