Thanks for the 'well deserved shot in the arm' . I really like how PJ deals with the shareholders in a straight and transparent way. A breath of fresh air in the AIM casino where punters have little idea of these AIM directors 'moving in mysterious ways their wonders to perform'. Bit like Zaks charts but then I do like the idea of the 2p target which IMO is well within reach especially give a plethora of project news both now and in the near future.

Perhaps we'll soon qualify for Zaks mumbo jumbo charts which could be another shot in the arm.

when shares in South Atlantic companies exploring/ producing oil in a hostile offshore environment far away from civilisation still attracts the punters . At the same time as what is proving (hopefully) to be one of the largest onshore oil resources in Europe based firmly onshore in the UK with low producing costs and surrounded by vital existing infrastructure still struggles to gain acceptance among the punters.

Come to that the oil majors as well but then they are going all 'green' for the time being anyway. Odd isn't it?

I wonder if those who were so outraged by recent placing really did go over to UKOG as many claimed they would. If so I wonder whether they made the right decisions.
Its the AIM game of being shafted not only once but twice or even three times but still like me coming back for more. Don't we all just love navigating the minefield called AIM?

Correction, the oil spill in Alaska was prior to change of BP's logo and was probably the result to make them all cuddly and green

Shell announcement, we've heard this sort of thing before from majors. BP came up with a new logo of sun years ago trying to enhance its green credentials with the co-operation of Greenpeace . This was followed by Alaska oil spill and Deepwater Horizon. Say one thing do another like all big corporations and political parties.

Heid - the politics of producing at HH are far more complex than W Newton etc. The well heeled frequent the Home Counties unlike Hunberside and they have the ear of the toffs in Parliament .

Not so sure about pipeline offshore, rules are very strict and submarine pipelines are trenched when they are laid and covered. Being as much of the North Sea oil is formed in the sediment layers that run onshore, e.g. Kimmeridge layer originates at Kimmeridge in Dorset hence the Wytch Farm reservoirs, sweet crude is not just offshore with low API at Horse Hill and Wytch Farm the Horse Hill API . Wressle is similar API around 40 all similar to Brent crude. That is one of the very many attractions of UJO concessions they would seem to be 'sweet' crude or should be.

hoping - they do it all the time on AIM. Its a technique of devaluing the share to what it should be so that its a bargain placement at bargain basement prices thereby being oversubscribed. It was likely to happen after the placing as it was overvalued. Better this way round I reckon. The punters always end up paying, that's the first rule of investing on AIM where money raising is required. Companies join AIM for that very reason to raise money quickly at low risk to the company. Serious investors must know that long term prospects for UJO are good even when we go into the inevitable UK recession. Beats me why a certain oil company takes over Buchan oil field in the N Sea and SP climbs when offshore oil is expensive to develop and produce whereas onshore is much cheaper but that's the way sentiment works. Offshore oil is expensive to produce onshore is cheap its as simple as that.

What experience is that then ? C'mon ramping and wishful thinking ain't gonna get this share moving. News is what we want mostly connected with Wressle. No news is good news though.

this a.m on share talk if you haven't heard it not much talk of fundraise other than what you would expect. Reading between the lines they have an awful lot of project spending coming up which of course is what we all know anyway.

Writing was on the wall. Can't do anything without placings - Its the way AIM operates unfortunately. Buyer beware.
